For those asking Xbox game preview is for everyone. It's the equivalent of steam early access. While preview program is for select uses who beta test the Xbox one's console updates. So to wrap it up just go to the the store and go to game preview section. Hope this helps!

Its worth pointing out that the PC version isn't optimised and won't be until Nvidia sort themselves out regarding DX12 drivers, its very likely that it will run okay on consoles.

This is a fun game, played since day one on the XboxOne, i have the robo rex skin on an official server and it was totally worth it

are there cities like that on any of the PC servers? that looked awesome. i doubt you can have cities like that with only 70 people on a server.

Everybody complaining about graphics, lags, framrate, I DON'T CARE. As long I can build a base, ride Dinosaurs to battle, shoot guns, and build a tribe.

Would be funny it if runs better on the XBox than the PC, but some sacrifices will be made. Still though, glad to see some growth. I have seen many games claim that they will port over to consoles and never even make it this far, so that is to be commended!

Ark: Survival Evolved beats any game that's out right now, no question. I've been playing it on PC and it is freakishly addicting. It's like Turok, Battlefield, and Witcher mashed up into one. FPS / MMO / survival, the perfect recipe to a top notch game. I don't even know why I purchased Black Ops III, Fallout 4, Star Wars: Battlefront, etc. I barely play them because I keep going back to Ark. Get ready console gamers, Ark is going to be one hell of a ride your never going to be able to get off of.

For console gamers wanting to play Ark but can't play it early because they don't have a PC or Xbox One, Xbox One's are apparently going on sale for $299 USD during the holiday season according to a few official articles. That's $50 USD off. If you want to play Ark that bad, I highly recommend you consider purchasing the Xbox One this holiday season at the very least.

This game is amazing sometimes. With a mouse and keyboard is very easy. Its fun to play online, offline get boring after a while. For those of you that are thinking about buying it, watch gameplay on twitch or youtube then make a decision.

Lol there is a HUGE war going on in my server right now, the 4 biggest tribes are all going at each other (thankfully my tribe is not involved) but I saw one of their battle quetzals and the first thing I thought of was this trailer.

I'm kind of disappointed at these comments. You guys are doubting the work of these amazing developers because of the graphics?I am ashamed that you guys would doubt them. Oh, that Tech Tyrannosaurus Dominum skin is an Xbox One exclusive. What would be the purpose of adding a feature for one recording session, then getting rid of it? There is no reason of adding a Xbox One Exclusive feature to the PC just to get rid of it.

Theory Time Somewhere in the galaxy there's a type 3 civilization (A being that controls it's galaxy) and tested to see how destructive civilizations are so it made a Ark and there were other civilizations before man got on the ark and the type 3 civilization got prehistoric creatures from other planets with the beings as well that's why there's dinos and mammals and man and all types of stuff to see what happens and that would explain the oboliscks (I don't know how to spell it) the supply drops,the chips in the ark and the force and now that robo-dino it explains everything! I've played ark a good 200 hours now, this is high end PC gameplay not Xbone gameplay. You'll need something a lot more fancy than an Xbone to get the graphics.

It's funny how all the PC dictators are whining about how this is PC footage but I was playing this on the console 30 minutes ago and it looks identical when in theater mode. The new patch they threw out today really optimized frame rate, and they added randomization for the terrain which makes the scenery look ten times better! Also tamed a castorides level 72 and turned out to be a 107. This game is extrememly addicting even if it's still 600p and less than 30fps at some points.

For anyone saying xbox won't look anything like this... Coding for consoles is way different for the most part. For example, a very underpowered ps3 in relation to a decent pc ran The Last of Us. Graphically speaking the game was impressive and PC's at the time with way stronger hardware would have not run that game well due to alot of other factors. Coding was what made the difference. So, with that being said, do not be surprised when this comes out (despite all the possible bugs) it does look pretty decent.

I'm creating a tribe that will help innocent people who are being attacked by raiders and search and identify tribes that only raid and kill innocent players so that we can take down their operations, hunt down the worst raiders/criminals and just generally protect my server/Ark and dispensing justice, I'm just having trouble deciding if my tribe should be called "The Ark Guardians" or "The Justice League" Any ideas or input would be appreciated! :)

Im playing it right now on Xbox and im getting amazing frame rate and graphics compared to when I played on PC. I mean if you got a titan you can have fun on PC but at least I can play the game on console.

If only the game actually was played this way. I love ARK don't get me wrong, but most players have 0 creativity to build bases / houses so the map is covered in ugly box bases with behemoth gates as walls. Also, there is 0 honor or respect for proper PVP so you will 100% get raided and KOS several times over if you play on an Official server. The game is fun, but don't expect to be living in Dinotopia when you play this game.
