Felt the goosebumps when Knocking At The Door started. Made me think of Hamilton, the Grey Cup, and made me feel proud. You guys put on one hell of a show in 14 minutes!
Boggles my mind that I've seen these guys play in Southampton Guildhall and Club Academy Manchester in the UK which are TINY venues yet they can produce this incredible performance! Arkells deserve more global fame and recognition, this is absolutely incredible!

As someone who went to their show in Vancouver in October 2022, I can tell you that the Arkells are just as good live as they are with the recorded versions of their songs. I remember watching this performance when it was released to RU-vid and I was impressed by the vocals.

I know I'm late to the party but I absolutely LOVE this band. I was able to see them live this summer and it was without a doubt one of the best experiences I've ever had. I used to be a big hip hop guy but these guys have provided me with something I was able to have a much greater emotional attachment with then what I was ever used to. I can't wait to experience what else the future holds and cheers to my bank account for all the shows I plan on attending from now on! 😂
Sunday morning sat out front of my house and listened to soundcheck. Walked down to THF when soundcheck ended and met the Arkells. Everyone is jealous of me and my photo with Tim and Max.....everyone.
This performance has been in my head since Sunday...it was that AMAZING!! The energy, the dynamic voices, and the willingness to share the stage...gives you goosebumps! Even as a Bomber fan you got me cheering for the Tabbies lol. The Arkells are truly a Canadian classic ❤
Best half-time show in Grey Cup history! The collaboration with The Lumineers and K. Flay was icing on the cake. My eyes were leaking with joy watching it so I’m glad it’s on video to re-watch. An Arkells show never disappoints. The energy, talent and incredibly positive vibes exuded is something to behold. Not to mention you all being the nicest, gracious and most down to earth bunch of guys and girls fans could ever meet.
Wow - awesome show, good work! Pulling off a flawless performance like that, on such a huge stage with so many people involved and so many moving parts. This truly speaks to the talent of this band!
I watched the Grey Cup but for an unexplained reason decided to pass on the Half Time Show. Dumb, I know, but considering I am a soon to be 73 year old and actually saw the Beatles perform in Montreal, I have conditioned myself to not taking seriously Canadian music. It my have been true back in the 50’s, 60’s, but not since the 70’s and onward. There are countless great Canadian music performers over the last 50 years, too many to list here, so why would I think that the Arkells not measure up to my high standards. Dumb! Dumb didydumbdumb. I just finished watching the incredible performance of the Arkells,
Lumineers should've performed "Ho Hey" and The Arkells shoulda performed "Ticats are Hummin'" (perhaps even change it to "the Hammer is hummin'" in order to be "netural") but still a solid show nonetheless lol
