I'm kinda worried that a medic that only heal won't be great (because DPS rules, for the most part), but practically make you immune to status effect is a genius idea for a 6* medic.

The way I remember them are Wandering Medic range wide the last, not the first, Therapist medic range wide the first, not the last. Or you can remember them as Wandering Medic range is the opposite of Therapists medic range. Or simply, remember them by their role, like therapist megic is for removing abnormal status while wandering medic is for healing elemental damage

@@Freepalestine14421 yeah, warfarin can charge and buff (supporting offensive) whereas lumen specialize in abnormal support (status removal) edit: turns out lumen wasn't a wandering medic, but a therapist (ceylon archetype) so no elemental damage recovery

@@dark0al097 Gladiia and Bibeak has their use in CC while work well in normal maps. Scene is hard carry in normal maps and in IS. Lumen will soon see use if the enemy has CC, maybe in daily Pyrite or in IS (He make purple golem a joke). Not only that, there are some more really annoying debuff, like the atk decrease from Bladeheim Kight.

Calling him trash would be not correct, getting an op that can instantly remove negative status (no less an op for free) is really good. I’d say he’s in the spot of “he’s a healer” which means no matter what he’ll get great usage, especially if we get more status ailments our local goldfish husband can nullify

Um...Original Specter depends on that self-stun to survive. It's literally a liability to have someone heal it, since the main point of that skill is to hold a monster that cannot be tanked for the skills duration, then just stun her so that she lets it pass without dying. If you are bringing her for the attack bonus alone, sure, removing the stun would be beneficial. But then you should ask yourself...Isn't it better to have +100% attack for 50% of the time than at +160% for 20% of the time?! Not to mention alternatives, with Broca being far better on the offensive while Blaze is better at regular defenses and consistency. And don't bring up the fact that "Specter can hold her line without a healer thanks to self-heal!", since if you want to heal her stun, she'll clearly need to be within a healers range. Her self-heal is a non-argument compared to Broca.

​@@kikixchannel Tbh, I think it's a pretty moot discussion unless you build her specifically for IS2 where Lumen might not be available - assuming he heals enough anyway. If you build her for helidropping Surtr-style (eg. she isn't meant to stay around to take up slots), you aren't goin to M3 her first skill and thus Lumen curing her stun is very useful for the few laneholding purposes you might have if your roster lacks good backups in that category. If you build her for laneholding with Skill 1 (eg. IS2 or weak roster), her S2 causing leaks is a serious problem so you won't bother with it at all until much later. You'd have to have some pretty specific roster problems to put mastery on both skills and use both for laneholding, at which point you should probably build a 4* of some sort to help out. There's nothing wrong with building her to use S2 and purposely damage and leak bosses but you have wonder what she can do post-boss/nasty unit on her own that someone else can't do with backup from the rest of the team down the lane. It's fine in the early to mid game where rosters are shallow but when you're at the point of mastering anything, you should have enough bases covered in the squad to have her do either one thing or the other. Basically, her Alter seems to be for what you suggest using regular Specter's S2 for (do damage, "die" and leak while continuing with AoE damage, then go back).

​@@Zinras To be frank, I do not really understand much of what you said. I understand it language-wise, but it's just such a mix that goes from one utility or problem with her to another that it's hard to know what you actually mean. Especially since I'm pretty sure that mastery is irrelevant here, so it shouldn't even appear. The fact that RU-vid sucks as a social platform and it doesn't show me my comment (or two others) in the notification for some reason doesn't help. That being said, if you have no 'roster problems', Specters invincibility is absolutely not needed. You can kill bosses fast enough that buying time is useless, so using different units is better. Similarly Blaze is better for a long-term lane holding while STILL offering some good time-buying when that boss does come. It is when you're in the earlier stages of developing your roster that Specter excels at the job. At that point however, you do not have the firepower to make enemies disappear which will put serious strain on Specter when some more elite enemies appear. That skills stun allows you to recover her to full (helped by her regeneration) before continuing on with the work. Again, if you do not want to use the immortality, Specter is outshined in almost every other use. The only niche she has otherwise is solo-holding a lane against fodder, since she doesn't need a healer if the damage she's going to get it's that high. Otherwise, whether it's burst damage, damage throughout a map, raw defense stat, her ability against a flood of fodder...all of these are done better by either Blaze or Broca (and in future, Gavial the Invincible). Basically, you would want to use her and cure her stun only if you have neither of these two built (or even have them, for that matter), or if you just like her and want to use her as the core lane-holder regardless of whether it's the most efficient or not. There's nothing wrong with that, but that doesn't mean that Lumen will make Specter 'better' as an operator.

Til 99% of the community is stupid enough to not recognise how BROKEN this man is And he's free. If this man was the limited unit instead of specter everyone would be going nuts. But since we're getting him for free everyone is just taking his prowess for "granted" . Like all humans tend to do with free stuffs. He's an insane unit.

@@longsteinpufferbatch4949 Yeah he looks insanely useful, definitely seems way more useful than Specter alter. (They have completely different roles of course, but Specter has a lot of conpetition whereas Lumen has none whatsoever.)

no, sadly Def debuff by corrosion is not affected by Resist, so it's not a status that Lumen and other Therapist medics can help anyways.

@@zynczinc1443 note that Zumama does need to be healed by Lumen to cleanse her stun, but if you're using S3 anyways on Zumama that means she's fighting nasty enemies so she'll probably end her skill with her having damage

yes on both of your questions. That's a +55% atk buff, with a +30 atk speed permanently on regular maps

He doesn't just heal elemental dmg, he outright removes it. honeyberry can only lessen as far as i know

@@janelletaboada6673 no he doesn't help with elemental damage. he can only deal with Status ailments of which four exist in game, Stun, Chill, Freeze, and Talulah's fire.

He is a therapist not a wandering medic. HE CAN'T HEAL ELEMENTAL DMG

You'll need at least one wandering for Phantom's IS, and Lumen would not be available for it, so yeah, building Honeyberry is a safe bet. Plus, we never know what more forms of elemental damage we will encounter.

If you didn't know his talent 1 already is one of the most consistent sources of Resist. He already gives resist on his basic heals, and he's not totally dependent on his cleansing skills to work as a Therapist Medic

@@winter9348 Resist is always the same, a 50% less duration for Status effects. What differs is the duration. His Talent 1 at E2 max pot makes it that every one he heals gets the resist buff for 4 seconds. If the target op's hp is above 75%, it increases to 6 seconds. Whisperain's is 5 seconds for each activation of S1 or 4 seconds for S2 when it activates per heal. That's M3 btw so it's even lower at S7 only. Ceylon only gives resist when S2 is active but it's all throughout the duration of her skill. Not very consistent though since she has an downtime of 80 seconds. Purestream's a lot better since she has a similar talent to Lumen, but capped at 4 seconds only. Lumen's still better with his status cleanse.
