Patriot: a wendigo war veteran with experience of hundred years wars, have offensive encounter with Kal'tsit multiple time. Also Patriot: "omg a sarkaz child, *RUN"*
For those wondering how Fear works, it’s a slightly random variation (less than 45 degrees) of a vector directly away from the fearing unit, so it shouldn’t be true random and you won’t get the enemy still advancing. You can also permastall with just a bit more than +0.2 SP/s!
To add, from what i have seen on patriot here (and some shifting shenanigans elsewhere) : For enemy with checkpoint(s), if they are forcibly moved closer to their blue box before properly reaching a checkpoint (shifted, fear), they will go back to reach said checkpoint before advancing back in their track. Even if it means taking longer distances to their blue box. However, from what i have experienced : If an enemy have no checkpoint, moving them closer to their blue box (shifted) will HELP them reach the blue box faster. I assume shifting didnt creates a checkpoint, i dunno about fear. Also, take notes when an enemy have weird pathing pattern like zig zag, circling around multiple times, or deliberately going into a direction farther than straight into blue box (like those sarkaz lancer). These enemies might have some invisible checkpoint somewhere and can be "toyed with" by shifting (and fear) shenanigans.
Waiting to see how global handles translations lol. Elemental resistance and elemental RES, ammunition and ammo... HG loves their similar-ish mechanics
I love her, the fact that this operator relies on any second operator who deals necrosis damage to deal large damage is such a brilliant solution to power creep!
Issue is in terms of powercreep that Logos already came out. I’m also worried about HG’s less than stellar unit synergy combos, especially cases like Warmy… but her S3 at least is functional with someone else.
@@slonik0002 Sure Logoat can deal necrosis damage but Nymph uses that necrosis damage to deal even more damage on top of logos. She also has immense potential for either contigency contract or IS stages where there are enemies that any single operator cannot take on by themself
Nah, its not synergy. Its dependency. In the showcase, Nymph easily shred patriot after Virtuosa put him under necrosis. However, we are glossing over the fact that Virtuosa is mandatory here since nobody else (excluding logos, ofc) can take her role of inflicting necrosis reasonably fast. Meanwhile, any other (necrosis) primal caster (or simply any other dps, which is a lot of option) can take on nymph role of dps (some of them doesnt even need virtuosa to begin with). Its even worse because nymph S3 depends entirely on someone else inflicting necrosis for her and... Outside of virtuosa, you need to inlict bajillion of arts damage to even pop a necrosis once. At the rate of 25% necrosis build up per 100% damage dealt, you need to deal a grand total of 4000 arts damage to normal enemy (8000 for elites and bosses) to pop a necrosis once. Remember, necrosis itself is 800dps for 15s, a total of 12K damage. How much HP does normal and elite enemies even have? 50K ? Without virtuosa, you will kill normal enemies without ever popping a necrosis. And most elites will be long dead before the full 12K necrosis even takes an effect (and any surviving elites will definitely dead before you pop a second necrosis). This is before mentioning the problem of enemies moving out of range. At that point, you better off using normal caster and normal arts damage. Also, Nynph herself is single target (2 with S3) but have no special targeting. And if anyone were to bring virtuosa, it has to be for her S3 which can easily sweep infinite number of enemies in her range. In this case, she doesnt need Nymph, at all. Nymph very high potential damage doesnt have practical use.
Patriot: "I fear no man, but that... thing..." Literally a sarkaz child: :] Patriot: "It scares me." Also can we talk about how we went from memeing that the Doktah is willing to deploy Myrtle in front of the 200 year old wendigo war veteran to a child basically countering Patriot's slow movement through permastall alone?
Probably will be good in perma stall team whenever they release a CC where the boss is near unkillable again. Other than that just use logos, or even eben lol
Ah yes, fear effect makes the enemies goes in a random direction and they cant be blocked What would happen when she fear the spear dude running at 1000km/h heading to the blue box and he somehow keep going straight?
So shes like a normal caster until an enemy is affected by elemental burst? It’s fine if that’s the case but I wish that primal casters have a more friendly trait so that they can trigger elemental burst on their own. (with the exception of skills that specifically give elemental burst)
Primal casters need to be more interesting instead of being a "support of a support" It hurts cuz Virtuosa is the only one who can make them shine and a limited operator at that, It feels cheap.
As always primal caster are disappointed like how flinger until walter exist, we need limited primal asap because nymph are still dependable (literally her archetype)
@@jevs1555she killed it patriot with virtuosa? she’s nothing game breaking but I wouldn’t say she’s mid, she just has to be run with ritualist, and there’s no problem with that.
