if you've read Theresia last message you know that Kal longing for someone to be kindred with, "Kelsey, you know im not one of your kin, but I'll always be there for you". you'll also notice how she had only smiled twice so far, that's upon receiving Theresia letter in Victoria and to Skadi after UT, perhaps showing how Kal also feels kindred with Skadi. that subtle and complex emotion alone already warrant her as one of the best character in this game
@@atofu6311 her struggle, kal is the only want in her kind left and she wanders alone for thousands of years perhaps. she feels kindred to theresia bcs she's the only sarkaz that's that compasionate to infected and non infected to all races not just sarkaz, and skadi is the only one that had bathed in the seaborned hod bloods, one of a kind truly but maybe she feels kindred to all abyssal hunyer aswell bcs they're similiar inthe struggle as her
Dokutah: "Ah yes, WIFE." Closure: "I don't know what happened, but Rhodes Island just completely stopped. The city won't move. When I checked PRTS about it, the only reply was 'HOW DARE YOU HOW DARE YOU HOW DARE YOU' all over!"
Ahh yes, Kal'tsit. The self-buffing, Tank, Summoner, Medic with AoE Sniper range and her friendly Enmity Defender, Fast-Redeploy, AoE Guard, True Damage dealing Originium Space Rayquaza. But remember everyone, according to her Operator Record she only has three years combat experience. _Three. Years._ ;-) As always: Cheers everyone! ^_^
@@-thepatriot-9719 Shhhh. We _definitely_ didn't see her fighting in _"A Walk in the Dust"_ or anything... nope. No one saw a thing. Cheers Wendigo! ^_^ Edit: Killing mobile typos.
That look of surprise on Kal'tsit's face when the Doctor remembered Priestess' name was priceless. I was like "FINALLY I got a good reaction out of her!"
Probably the oldest known characters in Arknights so far are the Doctor, Preistess who's conciousnness was uploaded into an A.I, grandma Kal'tsit and Kaschey who has the ability to transfer his soul to different bodies. Sarcophagus is an ancient technology that only the Doctor can use, maybe the Sachophagus is what gives him pseudo immortality. Preistess looks very (in real life) human in appearance, she and the Doctor are possibly of the same race and she probably opted to convert her conciousness into data instead of using Sarcophagus to stay alive. Kaschey on the other hand is stated to be more than a thousand year old, he survived by possessing different bodies. Lastly Kal'tsist, we don't know how she manage to survive for thousands of years even though she has oripathy herself.
I also like how if you first boot up the game and download all the ingame content, it doesn't say "download" or "Verifying files", it instead says "Releasing Neurotransmitter", indicating that yes, We the protagonist did indeed get comatosed in a Sarcophagus.
Kal'tsit tell the truth about the Doctor and what the Doctor did in past that made the Doctor got thrown into a Sarchopagus, and shocked from hearing it Just to find out she's also shocked that the Doctor remember Priestess out of sudden A story about Priestess and Doctor when HG?
She's like reverse Kane >Mysterious thousand year old person wandering the land of Terra >Involved in world event history >formed a Brotherhoo... I mean a P(Harmaceutical ) company who's goal is to help the infected people of Terra...
Thanks to your channel. Most of the time I skipped the story. I’m committed that it’s too complicated for me and I don’t have much time to diving into them. Your videos made me more involved and understanding Arknights. That was playing since starting global. Thanks again Cheers ✨
Ironically After UT, I borrowed Amiya's scooter to pick Kal'tsit up, we got Boba on the way for us and Amiya aswell, let's just say the experience was, "nice" if you could say that.
you really have to put all the KIA in there huh? RIP granny. tho should be noted that Kal, Ascalon and perhaps some other elite ops against bringing Doc back from cherno (well technically Kal abstained in the vote but you know how she truly feels). Ascalon iirc is the one that against it thw hardest, she might put Doc at the same rank as W in her watch list
I'm not going to lie, I really didn't like Kal'tsit at the start, but she has started to grow on me somewhat, because even if I had to wade through the mud of her winded monologuing, purple prose and philosophy (which I still despise, holy crap woman, speak clearly!), I've started to notice that she seems to genuinely care, especially about her patients and some of the people that crossed the path of her life. Really hope that she can start to put some of her passive-aggressiveness regarding the Doc behind her and starts to work more closely with them. Or finally tell us what the fuck Theresa, her and the Doc did with Amiya, because everything regarding our small bunny stinks to high heaven.
well, players have noticed that the big reason our ex-wife has a propensity to talk like a Shakespeare character is because that's her way to put her emotions in check to maintain a cool, level headed mind. That's right, this catto uses philosophy speech whenever she feels very emotional
Nope it's preistess, it's possible that she and the Doctor are of the same race (real life human appearance).. She might be his actual wife, who knows.
@@nublord5648 the thing is, the doctor seems like a grown up man, so kinda expecting that the doctor have an older man voice, but do i have to points that up tho.....
Wading through the comments just made me feel disappointed how a good number of people believed fanon as canon despite the many evidences to the contrary :/
If Kal'tsit's goal is stopping war, why did the Columbia and Bolivar had a war? Civil war of Kazdel? The Great Rebellion in Ursus? About Sargon's expansion to Minos? Iberia and Ægir's being silent?
@@FrostByte262 I know. Just asking. There are just a lot of things she can't do but she strives for it. But the question is, how? How did these things happen in the first place? Did she foresee these things? Or the things she expected didn't came on what she planned? Who knows.
@@kaltsit7260 the answer to “how” is of course Oripathy and “Humanity” (cliche we know), She and Rhode Island are attempting to make a cure for one of the factor which is Oripathy
her goal isn't to stop war, but to prevent human made catastrophe like nuclear annilihation or nuclear winter. And likely was ordered to by her master/creator or sumtin
Hey mate kinda interested on the list of all Rhodes Island operators that were KIA during the Reunion conflict can you make a video about it much appreciated mate
@@BaltahazarrRara try going to RIHQ discord server lore-main channel. they have all the story text up to the latest cn content translated. the invite link should still be in AK official discord
@@BaltahazarrRara have you joined it? can you find the link? i can try post the link here if you want. plus a note that on that lore-main channel be careful to not bring any excessive theories or headcanon for the talk bcs you'll get an insta warn mute, refer to pin in the channel first please
If doctors blood is able to be transfused to Amiya, then there would be a chance that the doctor is somehow Amiya kin since u need to be of a certain blood type to transfuse to others And Kaltst not wanting us to talk about it seems a bit suspicious
There's also the fact that the Doctor isn't "normal" by Terra standards, Warfarin mentioning that his blood smells different from any other she ever had (and she's tasted almost every race's blood types) and the fact that Amiya is a Chimera. Maybe not exactly a matter of them being kin, I guess, but it's a interesting theory.
beta version of AK have her voiceline be more caring and gentle thus that. but HG did the right change bcs the previous one just doesn't fit her as the "mechanical uet full of humanity" personality, it also deepen and make it more complex/unique character for a long run story. you might also notice how most of OG char that came from the start of the game has this voiceline and profile record that's more shallow and tend to be more on fanservice. while recent or newer ops focused more on the huge lore dump and indepth characterization
@@axios4702 You can blame me for, skipping the storyline and didn't pay attention to that old man. Also im not a story reader. (Also the first comment is just a joke. What in the world can people expect their age by guessing?)
@@demonic7131 Isin himself said he remembered (kinda, he dreamed it, but he has prophetic powers) her talking to his king thousands of years ago.
