This crowd was absolutely bananas. 🍌🍌🍌 And I mean that in a good way. There were so many people with so much energy and so much enthusiasm and joy. If the XFL can get crowds like this on a consistent basis, this league will survive for a long time.

As a Roughnecks fan, that St Louis crowd man. You can feel that energy through the screen. I hope that all the teams can reach at least half this experience as the league moves on. STL is why I believe both the XFL and USFL should have more teams in non-NFL markets. you get better crowds with fans straving for a team.

The XFL would be perfect for so many major cities without an NFL team! San Diego, OKC, Sacramento, Louisville, Salt Lake, Memphis, Louisville, Portland and Richmond would would be interesting.

Awesome turnout by BattleHawks fans. Great to see them rewarded with a win. That being said, the announcer more than once said it was a "Spring football attendance record". Incorrect. The Tampa Bay Bandits of the USFL hold that record. They also lead the USFL in average attendance every season but the first. They drew the highest average attendance over the three-year history of the USFL, coming in second in attendance in 1983 and leading the league in that category in 1984 and 1985 with over 40,000 fans per game. I doubt that record will be broken anytime soon. Tonight's game had less than 39,000. I was a ball boy for the Bandits during the 1984 season. It was an amazing experience for a 15 year old kid. I hope the USFL & XFL both succeed and one day merge. Cheers.
