You cannot tilt the physical camera and the mount is crooked with the little teeth that click into place. So to have the camera straight up and down you need to tilt the mount and screw it in like that..
Hi Ken, A solar panel is always a great idea for outdoor cameras, it allows you to prolong the amount of time a camera an stay mounted before needing to be brought down to be recharged. If you have the camera in a low foot traffic area, the solar panel could in theory keep it charged ongoing so you never have to bring it down. Regards Mikayl
I have an Arlo Essential Outdoor Generation 2. I don’t know how to take it off from the wall after we mount (I haven’t mount yet). I want to bring it down and charge it. But how we get it dismount from the wall because the camera attached to the screw inside of the base. I need help! 😢
It isn't apparent, especially before you mount the camera. What you have to do is slide the mount in the direction of the little arrow on the outside of the mount. It is not easy to see, but it is there. You'll need some pressure to get it past the little hinge that holds it in place, especially the first time. You'll hear a click when it releases. I'm not a fan of the mounts they give you with the cameras. There are after market mounts that allow you a lot more flexibility in positioning.
Hi, The provided information suggests that the battery life of the camera can last up to six months, but it depends on factors such as the busyness of the area and the number of capture events per day. To extend the battery life, you have the option of using solar panels or indoor and outdoor power chargers. However, the exact duration of the battery life with a single charge is not specified. If you have specific details about the camera model or its specifications, We can provide more accurate information.
