this is so awesome, everytime i get on this channel I learn something new. Most of this standing clinch is new to me, even though i trained in Judo for almost 7 years. quick question.. If I grab my opponents wrist and peel it down.. wouldnt he be able to do the same thing to me? Or does it come down to who gets the wrist quicker? Thanks alot for your work!!

Bombastik derTeutone Yeah it depends on many factors like anything else... positioning, strength, stamina, speed, sweat, timing, will and knowledge. Get your position and execute!

he called it the best martial arts channel on you tube. he is wrong. this is the best channel on youtube. judge a thing by what it is: if it's a comedy channel, how funny is it? this channel endevours to teach grappling, and succeeds to the highest level. I could gush about this channel for a long time. Absolute gold. Used the wedding sweep tonight. The Special is my go-to against big guys who drive in. 200% has replaced 100%. I have to stop myself. Gold.

Yes indeed Real recognizes real. The street science is the true science. We thank you all the way from Ghana, West Africa. I am a Street Fight Scientist I used to get bullied by an ENTIRE school and neighborhood, but I woke up one day and created my own style of MMA. I couldn't afford any classes and I didn't have any RU-vid. I was forced to study the fights in my hood and learn from the mistakes of others now I am my own Master of my school here in Ghana after many tears and beatdowns from Bullies. Thank you that the Youth, The Seniors and the bullied have a place to come so that they can learn to survive the tough streets all over the world. We here in my C.O_W.S. class called Catch-On Warrior Science - created in Washington DC when I was only 15 years old - I am 54 years old now teaching it in Ghana - Thank you.

David Mack There are a million “what if’s” Thankfully not everyone knows what I am showing just like most people don’t know boxing. Having grappling skill is really important to be able to stay safe in a real situation. The average wrestler will destroy your average boxer on the street and it’s not even close.

What a highly technical and practical video. I feel like this is the potential of wrestling for combat being truly expressed. Which is what I've always wanted to see like with Randy Couture for example. This looks as solid as his videos but with a better camera lmao.

I prefer the Russian drag but I love your take on it. By using the web hand to block the arm you are also creating space between you and your opponent which will block ALL attempts at a throw against you...

I'm just a novice, but one thing to consider when it comes to doing something like a slam from rear bodylock on the pavement is the possibility of manslaughter if he cracks his head. Obviously if there's more than one of them or weapons are involved, whatever, anything goes... but if it's just a hand to hand, one on one going for the RNC from the back is probably the more stable option in the metacontext.
@kaiceecrane3884

A mat return isn't likely to force someone's head to hit the ground but something like a back arch might, then there are also other takedowns from the back one could do too

Standard Greco work. I've been telling everyone I know and even offering to teach basics... But no one likes it. Jiujitsu guys are not receptive at all. Folkstyle kids are more receptive, but too into their style/thing to really dive in. Judo guys are the most receptive followed by Muay Thai clinchers, and those are rare. Keep up the great content.

How to defeat that handgrab: Drop your weight slightly to make your opponent think he's got you and rotate your arm upward towards his thumb with a nice Karate "snap." His grip will break and then you knee him in the nuts or bladder as hard as you can. He's not going to "bully" you any longer.
