I already commented this, but to let you know personally: Episode 20 "Reinforcement" 11:41, 11:57 The Autobots manage to grab Swindle in his alt mode(and I assume he gets scared/doesn't want to go because he beeps a lot and Red alert says "What's going on? What's he saying?") and Starscream panics, shouting out Swindle's name. Swindle drives out of Red Alert's hands and lands on top of Starscream in his alt mode.
2:23 The way the Mini-Cons were clutching his legs like they were begging him not to leave was heartbreaking. Honestly, I wish we got to see their reaction when he was killed.
I like to think that it has something to do with Starscream being so nice to them and courageous. Always trying to keep his minicons and even other ones safe and not trying to use them as a slave for war.
@@returnedtomonkey8886 I would have loved to see the 4 Mini-Cons with Legacy Armada Starscream as well. In regards to the Star Saber, while it may not be a full combining Star Saber, I am glad they included it as it shows that they remember that Starscream wielded it.
I really like this starscream, but I feel often people feel like this one is too different from the other starscreams. Which I feel is kinda wrong. Starscream, even here, is traitorous, prideful, used for comedy, and usually has a bit more carring about how he leads vs. Megatron even if he often has some nasty habits from his toxic leader. Even gen1 starscream at some point deeply cared for jetfire, forms relationships with the other deceptions, and cares more for casualties than megs in the show. It isn't often showed but it's their. Prime starscream as probably the most popular one outside of gen1, also has more teamwork driven goals shown with him caring about other deceptions and bring more outwardly friendly. He saves breakdown. In the flashback episode, he is the one on cybertron, keeping everything together helping out Shockwave. He is still traitorous and backstabbing, but so is this version just in less chaotic ways. I think importantly the reason for this major difference is Megatron. Starscream is always altered in a way to reflect megs. In gen1, Megs is a super evil madman with no regard for weakness and having loads of terrible plans. While in armada we see a more warrior general style of Megatron who disdain weaknesses or losing just as much but isn't willing until squidhead comes around to really play as dirty as gen1 Megatron would have from the start. So this starscream takes that noble cornel and amplifies it much like he does to other Megatron traits.
Am I the only one who thought it was funny when Starscream told the minicons to go away and then said that they abandoned with a completely straight face
I will always consider this Starscream to be his own character separate from the original and those that are meant to be like the original. I would love to see him return one day. A hero that was revived to be a guardian of the multiverse (like the Primus Vanguard). Because the Energon Scream is not the same. In Japan he was a clone called “Darkscream.” And I view Cybertron’s as a continuation of the clone (even though it was totally separate in Japan).
I enjoyed Armada,Cybertron, and Energon for the toylines and other characters but true, I might also pretend that Energon and Cybertron Starscreams are the impostors of Armada Scream too lol.
While there’s certain qualities of each character that should remain for every interpretation, I kind of miss the eras of more creative adaptations instead of mostly G1 callbacks.
@@cobaltprime9467from what I understand that was some kind of mistranslation as that was meant to be a literal reincarnation of THIS starscream. Hate that fact tbh….
I wish they had shown more than just one scene in 'Mars' of Strscream's partner Mini-Con Swindle/Grid alongside Star Saber/Air Defence Mini-Cons. He does bring Swindle with him when he joins the Autobots. I hope someday we get a toy of Armada Starscream with all 4 of his Mini-Cons: Swindle/Grid, Jetstorm/Mach, Sonar/Shuttler, and Runway/Jetter. It would be great to have them together again.
@@heckinsnek8724 Oh nice! A Part 2 is coming! I meant that the people who did the show should have included more scenes of Swindle/Grid with the others, in addition to just that one scene at the beginning of Mars where Swindle/Grid, the Air Defense Mini-Cons, and Alexis try to soothe Starscreams wounded pride.
@@beard3451 Oh absolutely, I wasn't sure if you meant in general or not 😅 I agree though, I wish they gave the minicons more time especially with Starscream's unique dynamic with them, as well as expanding on Starscream & Alexis's friendship honestly before the Cramp episode
I believe they are doing a Legacy version of Armada Screamer. No minicons yet though. The commander class Armada Prime looks amazing too. Can't wait to get it. Moveable legs!
@@zakkmylde1712 Yes I have the Legacy Armada Starscream figure! While it is disappointing it does not come with Swindle, Jetstorm, Sonar, and Runway, I am glad that it at least came with a model Star Saber, showing that they remember that Starscream wielded it!
i like to think the starscream in energon is a completely different entity, like a rebuilt and reformatted clone of the original. i think the fact that no one acknowledges him is proof of that
Either a clone or the actual starscream but with his memories completely wiped out, and megatron only gived him a select few of his memories back to keep him loyal
Idk man. I wish starscream would wake up to the fact Megatron doesn’t care about his comrades. Yeah starscream can be a bit egotistical but here he was all caring for the minicons he joined the autobots lol. Imagine if he did switch sides for good.
@@mechamax7919 Thrust had many iterations. In this Armada, he's Megatron's second in command and their tactician. And yes, that other one was a punchline to a joke, yes.
And then when Starscream took Demolisher up on his suggestion, the seeds of doubt that the Autobots had just got done planting were already in full bloom when he heard that Megatron had intended for Starscream to be terminated from the beginning.
I got my hands on Legacy Armada Starscream, love having him in the collection. Been thinking on getting the original Armada Starscream, with mini cons who make the Star Saber. As well as the characters and figures, like Jetfire, Tidal Wave (the takara Shockwave version as it's more color match with the show than the american version).
To any Naruto/Boruto fans watching this, I sometimes see Starscream & the minicons as Transformers Armada's equivalent to Mitsuki & his pet snake or cat ‐ Mikazuki.
Yes, he was a fire engine that could fold in half and was a missile battery that you could plug into the ports, he was part of a 3 pack if memory serves with a stealth bomber spinning star, and a police cruiser that turned into a blaster.

In most continuities, Starscream is a backstabbing conniving and manipulative bot who's mainly in it for himself. This continuity asks what happens if that sort of treatment is inflicted onto Screamer before he became just that. The answer is that Starscream becomes more like Dinobot. A bot who lives a warrior, but dies a hero. May his Spark join the Matrix. The greatest of Cybertron… Or it _would_ have if Unicron wasn't Unicron and corrupted him into the evil and conniving backstabber he ended up being.
I don’t remember which episode it is, but the episode when they are at a race course and one of the Autobots grab Swindle only for Starscream to save him is one I remember. I’ll try to figure out which episode it is and add it to this comment.
I like that scene that shows how Starscream's wing slides down and the hilt extends. Not how the toy worked but it was really cool that they thought to do something like that, Starscream's way of warning he will draw against you. And of all the Transformers who used the Star Saber he was the only one you ever saw treat the Minicons like little buddies. Both Hotshot and Megatron only had it in its sword configuration. Watching this series I made Skywarp my self insert character since he had all the cool stuff Starscream did. He was just a Decepticon who chose to work with the Autobots because he wanted to protect the Minicons. I even imagined him getting the Dark Saber when they fought Nemesis Prime. Taking the fake sword Sideways made and throwing it into the healing energy the Minicons produced that pallet swapped everyone. That stabilized it into a real trio of Minicons, Sonar, Launchpad, and Skyfire. I also like to imagine that when Starscream and Skywarp fought it looked something like this. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WTNck5FTzSM.htmlsi=U2yIrhRgKnZnULNA
I have mixed feelings about Armada's Starscream tbh. Cause of the TF Armada ps2 game, I didn't like facing him tbh, always gave the controller to my dad so he could beat him. But of all the shorts/vids I see occasionally of Armada, it's like wtf? This ain't the Starscream I know So.....idfk anymore
are armada starscream fans even fans of starscream? Like imagine saying your a megatron fan but only when he isn't a power hungry genocidal abusive war lord (so like only earthspark and lost light versions of him)💀
Also armada starscream is in fact a backstabbing traitor considering he y’know joined the autobots(even though he did go back to the decepticons) like leaving your army to join your enemies is one of the biggest forms of back stabbing a soldier could do
I personally like all forms of Starscream honestly (I won't speak for others), I relate to this one in some ways which is probably why I like this one even if there were somethings I didn't like, example him telling the minicons to go away or him being stubborn to the autobots, the latter though I understand since I would imagine its like culture shock from one army to another in how they work together, plus him having to get used to working with a team. The other ones like G1, Animated, TFP, IDW1, Cyberverse, etc; are really fun to watch/read honestly in how they try to complete their goals but also some of them interest me psychologically.
There is no lie that he is traitor to not just the Decepticons but also the Autobots in this version, I remember I used to see comments 6-7 years ago on other videos that he was very loyal but after rewatching it a couple years ago, I heavily disagree with that comment (though everyone has their opinions, you I imagine have your opinions on it as well.) However, he left both times due to emotional impulse which I think is a nice take from how the other Starscreams impulsive ways on how they act on their plans. Megatron just abandoned him as bait & talked behind his back to Thrust about doing it *again.* I don't blame him for leaving after that moment, its no excuse but the reasoning is understandable. 2nd time you have Thrust pushing on those triggers which led him to act *again* impulsively & gave all three weapons to Megatron, only to come to regret it later. I remember hating this moment lmao I wish there were more scenes in how he felt for the aftermath of the consequences but what we got was fine. Both not excusable, it makes his traitorous behavior interesting. that is just my perspective though.
Bruh, it's obvious that you're just saying this trash talk because of that lame "I'm a G1 and I hate everything that comes out after G1" excuse, get already lmao.
