I’ve worn Aventus several times in different places and I never ever received compliments from women wearing Aventus. Two of my buddies asked what are you wearing and they liked it but evidently not the ladies. I’m the fragrance guy on my job and community and people look forward to seeing what I’m wearing that day. I love creed myself, but I got to say honestly Club de Nuit Intense Man has gotten “me” more compliments than Aventus ever has.

Been wearing this for years. One of my first bottles I ever owned. Ill say this, my bottle, which is from 2015 or 2016, is one of my most complimented fragrances out of my 40 bottles. It projects, it lasts for hours, and smells amazing. Not sure about reformulations but with the price point you cant really argue.

I’m just glad you can’t buy this in random shops on the high street, because if you could, every man and his dog would smell like Aventus. Absolute compliment / performance monster.

Spot on. From an average guy, with amateur expectations, this is great. The "harshness", to me, isnt a bad smell though... it just let's you know how potent it really is! I am on my second bottle and still loving it.

Your review was 100% spot-on. I have Creed and I'm on my second bottle of CDNIM. It's opening is low-grade, however it's longevity and dry-down is where CDIM shines.

OK so here's my take. In the opening of CDNIM I get why some people say that it smells like lemon pledge but in its defense the same happened to me but only the 1st 2 or 3 times. Then after wearing it a couple of times I then started to appreciate it more, especially the opening. You start to actually pick up the different layers in the opening notes, although yes, I do have to recognize and admit that the pineapple note is not as pronounced in this clone as in other clones. So let's talk about performance. Performance on this one Is Exceptional. I spray this on in the morning at 8 to go to work and when I come back in the afternoon around 5 it's still on my skin and I can still smell it. Just Yesterday I had worn it to work (and I work in a hospital so you can imagine the smells that get stuck on your skin after a long hard day), and I get back home at around 5pm. I take my shirt off and get comfortable (at shirt and shorts). One of my mom's friends comes over to visit at around 8 PM and she sits next to my mom near to where I was sitting and after a while she asks me, "Hey what is the perfume you're wearing, it's really nice, I wanna buy a bottle for my son. He'll love it!" I was shocked cuz I couldn't smell it (probably olfactory fatigue) and realized that I had gotten 12 hours of performance yesterday from a bottle of the 'reformulated' CDINM. Not bad right?! Projection. Amazing. Enough said. I wear it in the morning and at 12 noon people are still smelling it on me from around a meter away. Although projection usually averages 2hrs or 3 hrs on average. Overall rating: 8/10 as a standalone frag Overall rating: 10/10 for a clone in the 30 dollar price range. Disclaimer: I live in a small island in the Caribbean where it costs me almost 60% of the fragrance's price to get it to me and I would buy this over again any day. 👌

This is my go to place for genuine honest fragrance reviews. Can't fault cdnim. Even my boss asked me what it was haha as much as I love fragrance I just can't justify the Aventus price tag don't think I ever will so this is just what I need to fill that gap. Awesome as usual ash!!

I’ve had lots of compliments whilst wearing this club de nuit even more so than my YSL Y , Bentley intense for men , D&G the one / light blue and bleu de Chanel, stronger with you, YSL la nuit de l’homme and finally my CH prive for men, I’ve a wide range of selection

The reason Creed Aventus has batch inconsistencies is because it’s made with natural ingredients and not synthetic ingredients. If it was made with synthetic ingredients then all the batches would smell the exact same. But that’s not the case with Aventus or any Creed fragrance for that matter. Just like every pineapple isnt always sweet, some pineapples taste less sweet and some more sweet, and so not every pineapple note of a batch of Aventus will smell the same. Creed uses ingredients that are higher quality, everyone is unhappy and freaking out of the batch inconsistencies because they’re used to smelling the synthetic designer stuff. (Not saying all designer stuff is synthetic but Creed isn’t because like I mentioned, they use natural ingredients)

Absolutely love my CDNIM and smelling it alongside an Aventus bottle i cannot tell the difference, they are identical to my nose and for a tenth of the price it’s a no brainier! CDNIM will always be in my collection! I personally love the opening of this fragrance!

I have both, dry down they 98% similar. Longevity cdim way better

Whenever I wear this the compliments I get are insane. This is easily my most complimented fragrance. I have never smelled the real adventus and honestly with the price...whats the point? It last forever and projects off my skin amazingly. 10/10 fragrance when it comes to versatility, performance and price nothing else compares but I'm no expert, all I know is, I control a room when I wear this one.

You hit the nail on the head. When I use this fragrance, I cannot smell it on myself but everyone around me love it (tons of compliments). Maybe I can't smell to due olfactory fatigue because its powerful.

"Reformulated" is the most over used word in the fragrance community.

Great video!! I own both. I purchased club de nuit for the gym. And save my Aventus for going out. But I can honestly say, I’ve had more complements on the armaf it’s insane.

Just tested this one and have found this too, has a very harsh and synthetic opening compared to Aventus. After half an hour to me it smells exactly like Aventus. By the way on the other arm I have PV Emporer Extrait and MB Explorer. I would say I prefer the PV for the pineapple opening but the Armaf nails it as the best clone for me AFTER the drydown.

I have gotten PLENTY of compliments wearing this. From young to old. Yeah the atomizer are hit and miss. It performs well on me in the summer and I wore this outside working in 85-90+ weather.

I just got this yesterday and I love it. The dry down is the best part. Longevity is great....I could still smell it many hours later. It really does smell VERY close to Aventus. It's an amazing scent. I even ordered a back up bottle.. Highly recommended!

I prefer this over my Aventus. This formulation reacts brilliantly on my skin with much more zest than Aventus. I'm not saying it is better for everyone but it is worth testing out. Forget the price point, this is quality juice.

I have this one and I get tons of compliments. There are differences with creed adventus, but the ‘likeness’ is very close. Also, the performance is the real deal. Save your $300 and buy this instead.

STRONG recommendation to buy this one - really rarely get compliments on fragrances, but this thing is pure power, honstely.

I bought Al Haramain L'Aventure specifically because of you and your wife. A few years ago, you made a video where you compared a bunch of Aventus clones and your wife picked Al Haramain L'Aventure as her favourite, so I went ahead and ordered it. A couple of years later, considering the absurd ammount of compliments that I've received while wearing it (literally more than with all my other fragrances combined) I feel the need to thank both of you. It's not my favourite fragrance and I don't have the money to buy real Aventus, but for compliments alone, that thing almost feels like it does what "pheromone colognes" are supposed to do.

Zara Vibrant Leather to me, is the closest smell to Aventus - ridiculously close. I have also CDNI & L'aventure. When you actually stop wearing Aventus, you tend to discover other great scents that you actually like, not just wearing a scent to impress other people. That was the case with me.

I personally have aventus and this clone. I like wearing the clone for work in the summer, means i don't have to use 180 pounds fragrances for work. Prefer to save it for special occasions. To me, it smells like a more synthetic version of aventus. Aventus smells more natural, mature etc. Still, i doubt many none fragrance enthusiasts can tell the difference. My 15 year old nephews is getting into fragrances and loves my aventus. I just got him club de nuit instead.

I just started collecting fragrance 1st one is Eros than Lacoste Blanc and the 3rd one is CDNI and this frag has the most compliment i just spray it today and get 3 compliment

Very well said. I love this fragrance for what it is, and it truly is a compliment beast. If anything, when asking people to do blind smell tests, they end up preferring CDNIM after being revealed as they find the price of Aventus to be "ridiculous". I've put both side by side and personally can't justify spending the money on a full bottle of Aventus when CDNIM has the same effect for a fraction of the price.

I have been collecting premium colognes for over 20 years and I'm going to have to disagree about the dry down part. The dry down smells amazing and identical to Creed Aventus to me. Honestly, I can see why this cologne gets more comments than Creed it's because it has a powerful projection and the dry down smells amazing. I can't tell a difference between my black cap Club De Nuit and Aventus. The longevity is great to just took a shower and still smell it on me.

I wore this for the 1st time today at work and within 30mins I had 3 compliments about the scent.

I have the made in France (3 backups to be exact), & of my 60 plus bottles this by far garners me the most unsolicited compliments! ( stalker type compliments) I don’t compare it against Aventus. I've been rockin CDNIM all summer and i promise, it is the most complimented colonge i have. Ive had women wanted to hug me so they can have the sent on them lol 🤞🏽. I work at a resort and 98% of the time im outside, so it hits like a champ💯💯💯💯

For the price CDNIM is an easy buy even for a serious collector. It's become legendary and while it's "hyped" per se it's all true so I don't see it as hype. I have Aventus but bought this too, it's beast mode.

I've only tried this on test strips at the "discounter" mall stores. It's crazy, I've kept test strips for a few days and the scent is still there. That drydown is great. But... I bit the bullet on trying L'Aventure first (now, several bottles) and honestly don't see myself steering away from it, it's fantastic

I got mine today and its a beast reminds me of the aventus batch I got back 2005, the smokiness and pineapple is on point, Armaf created a monster at a bargain price!

I bought a 50ml decant of aventus that I use only on special occasions and I use cdni for every other occasion I feel aventus-E 😂

Solid fragrance. I have received many compliments wearing this. It have a very mature not old vibe to it. Make sure you spray 30 minutes before going anywhere as the opening is very harsh and unrefined. Will I own a bottle after I run out? Probably not. Wouldn’t recommend to teens unless you want to smell like your 30

CDNIM is absolutely fire in my opinion! I reach for it over ADG Profumo, Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme etc. I love CDNIM.

That’s true.... it projects great and the dry down is a complement getter. For the price you can’t beat if you like getting compliments. Pineapple 🍍 vintage is great too but a lot more expensive.

There is no reason to own Aventus anymore. At least for me. CDNI does the job just fine.

I have the "Made in France" version with the black cap and its the fragrance that gets me the most compliments of any fragrance I own. I have about 45 frags now and for some reason every single time I wear this somebody says "what are you wearing". I own what I would call some real "popular" frags and maybe this just sits nicely on my skin, but its something very special in my opinion. and I dont think there is a better "value" fragrance ive seen to date.

Bought this off FragranceNet a month ago. Black atomizer. It has a super sharp lemon opening that lasts for about 10 minutes. After that, you're left with a fruity frag that is 95% Aventus only it lasts longer, projects further and costs a fraction of the price of my 17Y02 batch.

Lemon & Pencil shavings. THAT SAID...there are indeed similarities, and it absolutely garners compliments. I have received so many compliments from this, it's crazy. More than my Aventus has.

I just got this, I agree with your points on the opening. It actually started to make me feel sick but on the dry down, it starts to grow on me. I still can’t smell directly from my skin because it does smell like a lemon scented toilet cleaner

I am definitely going to buy this fragrance since I strongly respect your opinions on fragrances and never was I wrong when blind buying after your recommendations. BTW, can't seem to find a video of you about Encre Noire a L'extreme. You plan to review it anytime soon? If you don't and had the chance to smell it, what are you thoughts on it?

What I think is happening is that CDNIM does not have batch inconsistency but in fact bottle inconsistency. I am saying this because I have two bottles from the same batch 2020 and I got them from the same store even. One of them gives me max 1 hour projection and lingers on the skin for 2 more hours but the other one gives me a solid projection for 2-3 hours and I catch whiffs of it even after 12 hours, no joke. And I assure you it's not just me, I kept asking my girlfriend when testing these and she says the same. I think lot of bottles from the same batch underperform and others perform well. This could be a storage problem where it is possible for some bottles to go bad because of unfavourable temperature as the fragrances move from production, get exported and then arrive in stores but I'm not sure. This is why I suspect a lot of people online are divided on this. Also I don't believe that there has been any reformulation whatsoever as the smell is exactly the same as the CDNIM 2015 batch I used (silver sprayer).

Opening is rather air freshener, I agree that fragrances actually smell better to others than sniffing it upclose.The distance kinda dilutes that pungency.Thats really the beauty of it.

This One my GO-TO Heavy but Fresh MAINSTREAM Fragrance that Id pick over YSL Y, Coach for men, Etc.. Got it cuz I wasn't up for the Aventus Price! 😂 I've been very Impressed with the UAE Version❤️

Yeah! Way too harsh for me. Got to let this marinate for a bit before going somewhere, like the office for example. In essence, yes! It's an even more dumbed down Aventus. No pineapple, less anosmia, more consistent as far as the smokiness in comparison to Aventus and its batches, etc... Great overview as always. =]

This is def one of my top 3 compliment getters. I also prefer the scent an hour or 2 after applied.

I own the black cap, and let me say this, it's annoyingly long lasting, stays on your clothes for daaaaaays and if you don't wash your clothes it lingers around for 2-3 days. 2 sprays are definitely more than enough because it projects loud and for a long time all day and all night. I actually can't wear this 2 days in a row because you almost get sick of the smell because it's to in your face. Well for me at least

I tried it and I did get a compliment first time I wore it. I agree that the fragrance smells better when you're moving and people can smell you from a few feet away. I just never could get around to the horrible synthetic opening. I have also heard that Pineapple Vintage Intense is a perfect Creed Aventus replacement, if you don't want to go through your Aventus bottle quick. I completely agree with your review.

Yes, it is better of in the air. Reformulation has a toned down opening. And no matter how much you hate it, the compliments are unbelievable.....

Just received this cologne, watched this video before I bought it, and now again after. And I got to say your review is spot on at least in my opinion. All the points from the air smelling better around you with this cologne, to the lemon pledge vibes. Lol. Great Job!.

Have to disagree, I own 3 bottles of club de huit (found them very cheap online) and one of them is very very weak and yes it was the one with the black sprayer, also the two others smelled not exactly the same, so yes there are indeed batch variations. I ended up selling all 3 of them since L'Adventure by AL Haramain is a way beter clone of Aventus.

Afnan Supremacy Silver is by far the most identical Aventus clone I've ever worn. It has the same musky dry down as Aventus and has that pineapple opening with the middle being on par with Aventus too. It to me is the best and most unpopular Aventus clone out there. Great video as always brother!

To be honest i didnt try Creed but this fragrance rocks he have everything from name to bottle smells great performance great price too everything. This is how Jeremy should starting. I really like the idea of layering 2 different fragrances to make your own sort of unique scent. I’ve paired CDNIM with Mercedes Benz intense (Fahrenheit dupe) to make a very interesting, unique fragrance and while I know a lot of the fragrance community probably frowns on this, I suspect secretly a lot of people are doing this also. If you get a chance you should do a video on “layering”. Also thanks for the tip on Demeter. I’m fairly green when it comes to the frag world and since I’ve opened Pandora’s box my head is spinning with all the options, so thank you for narrowing it down.

I grabbed this fragrance because I liked this smell and not because it's a clone of another.. But I never smelled aventus

I've worn this fragrance in the office for 2 weeks straight and the only compliment I received wasn't even from a coworker, it was from the cashier when I was paying for my lunch in our cafe. One compliment is better than none so I'll take it lol. I would say that I received the compliment 6-7 hours after spraying (I take late lunches), so I do agree that the performance is there.

What's the point of reviewing 2015 batch in 2019? No one can get hands on this batch as 2019 is no where close to it in terms of performance.

Among the cheap Aventus clones I still prefer Al Haramain's L'Aventure

Im on my third bottle of this fragrance,the first one was the best,really the best smell and lasted 10+ hours,the second bottle was like water (02/17 batch),10 sprays and after 30min it was gone,and now i own 10/18 batch and its fine,lasts about 5-6 hours with decent projection of about 2 hours. So yeah,there definitely are differences between batches,and the first bottle i owned had silver sprayer and chain.

i bought it in 2021 april and its strong lasts 8+ hours maybe 10 hours if being precise ... can go for colder and hot weather

At much less than one tenth of what Aventus sells for Club De Nuit Intense Man is a superb choice. Save your $ , no point in buying Aventus.

Such an accurate review in every respect. I think Armaf's Bucephalus XI is a better version of Aventus, much less synthetic and a more balanced vibe. The opening is great too, very pineappley and natural smelling, much more enjoyable than CDNI.

I bought this because I was interested in buying Aventus but had never smelled it. Figured it was a safer blind buy. Turns out I quite enjoy it. I can agree that it's a bit obnoxious up front with the synthetics but it does go away. Amazing performance for the price. I get compliments HOURS after application and I rarely use more than 2 sprays.

Is club de nuit intense man better than montblanc explorer?

Aventus, Ashmentus! CDNI intense. 48hr projection baby and chicks totally dig it. Nearly got molested by shop girls the other day and on the second day (after a shower!!!) the barber asked me when did I cop the Aventus I was wearing? No one can tell the difference on the dry down. CDNI makes Aventus a bit obsolete me thinks. No cologne should cost £265 / 100ml.

Just a note... for those looking to purchase CDNIM in 2020, make sure you buy the MADE IN FRANCE version, NOT the made in UAE version. The harsh 'lemon pledge' opening from what many have said is only in the UAE version. The one made in France has a much nicer top note.
