Two new weapons that are in development for Infinite. The spiker is a completely new model and seems to just need a paintjob + normal maps, and the armament blaster is also close to completion.
I really hope the they're just giving the AB a rework instead of cutting it completely. Would be a shame to see a like 90% finished gun trashed like that otherwise. (Also Spiker be lookin kinda viable for once tho?????)
Yeah because I think they originally planned it to be in the game since there was a prop you could buy for it and its similair to the shock rifle meaning the smaller ones probably were going to use it but had to switch it to the shock rifle last minute even though the shock rifle is a banished weapon so it doesnt make sense.
I always really liked the Boltshot and the Spiker, so to see the two of them potentially coming back, and this time with their main issues seemingly addressed (role/functionality/power level), has me so excited! This on top of the DMR and Falcon leaks would really round out a great Season 3 addition. I know the Fuel Rod was also in the game files, though I don't recall if that was left over from launch or was something that's in development, would love to see it return as well though.
SInce the green aspects are supposed to be blue and its described as an arc charger, i think it will be a forerunner weapon that shoots shock instead of hardlight like the rest.
Not sure what I think to everything in this game being hyper accurate to the point where the spiker is too (assuming it doesn't change) But I'm still excited for this regardless. Infinites weapons have been great for the most part so we'll see how it goes.
Yeah the spiker had a super wide fire range in H3, not so accurate but great in CQB if you could melee or dual wield it and hit a melee. This one looks as accurate as the battle rifle and I’m not sure how ppl will take that but at this point I just want new guns so idc lol
@@meurumtrain4747 I prefer a mix so that each gun is unique. A wide spread doesn't make a gun bad, you only need to look at rockets, needlers, or the OG shotgun and plasma rifle for that
Really do hope the spiker does make it and isn't trashed its my favourite weapon in all of halo the halo landfall made it so much cooler when you saw that marine get pinned to the wall by it
That blaster looks incredibly strong - do you think it will spawn the shotgun weapon lockers or do you think I'm mistaken? I don't see how this would go to the mangler/plasma pistol weapon locker as it seems a lot more capable in terms of both power and utility.
@@numtheyum7686 Wouldn't the spiker go there? I feel like that's a LOT of variety in one slot. Don't know if that's good or bad though. Or maybe the spiker would go in the "small" pistol slot alongside the mangler
Wouldn’t it come in season 3? The roadmap they put out a while ago showed sandbox additions as something coming in season 3. Unless its a new vehicles being added but that would be even cooler imo
Infinite is seriously lacking in basically every way, 20 weapons, 12 maps like seriously that don’t even give us the weapon variants except the loot caves but that’s 1 map that has them like we’re 4 months away from the launch of multiplayer. Don’t even get me started on di-sync they should of worked on that before campaign co op. Like everyone who wanted to play campaign already have like they should of waited on co op fix desync then work on co op but also add some more refineries/ banished bases and just over all add more enemy to ever encounter because 4 Chiefs running around is gonna make the game way to easy
