Armed and dangerous felon still on the run in Powhatan, shelter in place advisory lifted 

The Powhatan County Sheriff's Office urged residents to stay inside of their homes Thursday night due to an armed and dangerous felon in the area, who remains at large as of Friday morning, according to officials.
On the afternoon of Thursday, July 11, Powhatan County residents were warned to remain in their homes as authorities began a pursuit of 36-year-old Chazz Lee Gordon, after he fled from a traffic stop around 2:40 p.m. that day.
Gordon is wanted for malicious wounding, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and brandishing a firearm. The sheriff’s office added that additional charges are pending relating to his reported evasion of law enforcement, including felony eluding, hit and run, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and brandishing a firearm.
