One of the worst pursuits I have ever seen! She almost got away, and very well could've, had she been a bit smarter. Clearly the police were biding their time, not worried at all for pedestrian safety. The police in California have very lenient rules about pursuits due to pedestrian safety, yet they clearly weren't concerned for public safety in this one!
They see us as cattle. We aren't worthy of protection. They flood us with criminals and create more criminals by not having enough work for the millions they brought up. those in power hide in their gated communities with armed guards. While they try to take your weapons away. You people are so blinded by fear it's disgusting.

It's disgusting that LAPD are not allowed to chase. Even worse that she had so much time to walk around. She could have broken into someone's home, carjacked someone. Honestly, they have to change their policies and protect innocent people.

I don’t think she was the original driver. I think the initial driver bailed under the bridge and she took over driving. That vehicle was under that bridge way too long when there was no other traffic exiting when she did.
Ha ha you would be surprised at how much abuse a Kia Soul can take. I accident 2 tracked over 50 miles in mine. My GPS was on walking directions in stead of driving directions 🤦♀️ found myself in the woods. No way to turn around.
Plot twist: it’s a test drive from Kia Dealership. he takes it back to the dealership, flips the keys to the salesman and says, “it runs great, a bit tight on the turns though”

Everyone around the country knows LA is famous for the helicopter chases. Do you think the citizens of LA would realize those helicopters can watch you from so far away

Pure madness to let this driver continue erratically for so long. Obviously a pursuit can be dangerous in itself but at some point you have to work with what you have. Although now that I think of it, what cop in a city like LA would want to stick their neck out when the politicians and too many in the public would throw them under the bus in a second if anything went wrong.
the driver knows jail is in their future. Driver knows helicopters are tracking, watching and filming, so making a performance so when driver goes to jail they can brag about what they did..... and knows it will be aired by the press and they can brag to their friends too when they get out of jail about 30 minutes after arrest....
Normally it makes a person calmer because they don’t think they are being pursued so they think they can blend in like a normal driver even tho cops are in a chopper. Apparently this person didn’t calm down though
It actually is a sport vehicle it’s has a sport button I don’t know if they all have them but I think that one might have one he just going to run out of gas quicker if he is in sport

Why if she took my car would I not want every possible bone that could be found in her body be broken 3 times over??? What message do you think CA Governor and DA were trying to translate to you over that 30 minutes on TV in an e@&$on year???
