Right order, wrong order, it is still a wonderful salute to our Military. I fail to understand all the hoopla over the order.

Thanks for posting this video (plus the lyrics!). I greatly enjoyed listening to it. As for service order, it varies depending on who you ask or what protocol is used. For example, DoD (USA, USMC, USN, USAF) then DHS (USCG), or the other variations listed in other comments. For what it is worth, the Memorial Day concerts in Washington DC go in reverse order, with the USCG coming first.

I know you're probably still at BMT. But when you get back. How was it? I wanna be in the U.S Air Force when I'm older. I'm 11. Soooo.... Yah. I'm in Civil Air Patrol right now :) But coast guards are so cool!

Bootcamp is hell 43 people in my company didn't make it and also as a non-rate you will be doing dishes and a lot of cleaningBe ready to begin at the very bottom. It starts to get better when you make third class. Good luck! Semper Paratus

ok so i was right with the airforce. didnt knew that coast guards is that "old" . thanks for that . but i also think that it doesnt matter who was the first armed force.. what counts is that they do a great job

Actually in order of branch, it would be. Army (14, June 1775), Navy (13, October 1775), Marine Corps (10, November 1775), Coast Guard (28, January 1915 (Arguable to 4, August 1790)), Air Force (18, September 1947).

Also, while this is great, the Army song is not "The Caissons go rolling along", but "The Army goes rolling along", just an observation from a soldier.

It was an oversight on my part. It was late, I was tired, and it slipped past me. I hope it doesn't spoil your entire viewing experience. I appreciate you and thank you for your service to our country. My dad was in the Army, and I was taught that once you put on the uniform of your country, we owe you a debt we can never repay. Jesse Sellers Are you trying to "Shame" me for not making one, because apparently it's really hard to do it? If you're going to make a video showing off military anthems, you should atleast get it right the first time.

Alex, I gave it my best effort. I have, since publishing this piece, been informed of a couple of errors in it. At some point I will redo it and correct the errors. My goal in publishing this was not to achieve perfection, but to produce something that will be a blessing to others. Since publishing it, I have been told that it's been used in numerous worship services, celebrations, and festivals. So now your only comment is that I'm not using the "Modern Coast Guard Anthem." Well, I had to work with what I had. I didn't produce the music. I have received numerous good words from men and women serving in all five of the branches. It has been viewed over 200,000 times, so it's blessing someone. A constructive criticism is always welcome. (That's where the person says, "Here's what I found wrong, and here's how I suggest you fix it.") I have, however, no patience for nattering nabobs of negativity who simply revel in pointing out something wrong, generally because it makes them feel better about their own insecurities. If you wish to be helpful, point me to the "correct" Coast Guard hymn. Otherwise, have a nice life.
