For that amount of money it's a steal !!! That thing is doing it's job, that's the most important thing for me. A dial is super legible, numbers are huge, illumination is good, this thing is turbo cool. Good video Simucom
The first watch I have seen which mentions water resistance in only feet. The display and illumination are great when compared to the Sunnto you reviewed last time.
The display and illumination are outstanding if we're going to compare it to a watch that is 10x the price. I did end up returning the Suunto. It was very well made but I just didn't feel like I was really getting a good value.
When I was a kid, I first watched Armitron as the official timekeeper for American Gladiators in the 90's. I thought that it was a prestigious brand that competed with other digital watch giants such as Casio and Timex, but now as an adult, I'm kinda surprised that it has a very low presence in the market, sometimes being even ignored by the media. What happened during all these years?
From what I've observed, they seem to have prioritized their focus on lower quality/more affordable "Walmart" watches (which is not a bad thing at all). They still have that great quartz reliability and a ton of different styles for a large audience. I do hope that they introduce some more higher-end models, but regardless I always have respect for a company that sells watches that anyone can afford.
I love Armitron watches also. My only gripe, is that many of the current (last 10 years) Armitron snap on caseback Analog offerings have casebacks that don’t want to snap back on the case. I have a watch press even. It sucks to, after a battery goes dead, to find out that you can’t get the back back on the watch you love.
Yours was a great deal. Like I said, a few of the Walmart clearance stickers say $31.00, but if you scan it with their app scanner they are less. Nice surprise.🙂
This looks exactly like QQ sport watch with 120 memory lap. my gripe with these designs is the proprietary straps which are integrated in the watch look
I can see the similarities. Fortunately the proprietary band is easily removable without sacrificing the integrity of the main case and using a NATO strap is a fairly easy affair.
