@@ColtonGamingTV no as soon as you jump in the hole it walls off your head, tried that. You could try to hit them with an AOE like AA or a bazooka but idt its worth the effort

What happens to Rusty in the Allmind route? He never shows up for chapter 5.

I do think there was an MT with the ALLMIND fight with Rusty's STEEL HAZE ORTUS. Thing is, it's possible it's from Arena data, and formally becoming one with ALLMIND is death, but I never heard Rusty's voice in Coral Release fight. It's very possible he survived, and that the MT that looked like him was just from arena data and simulation running (also, Walter mentions that while fighting the Vesper copies, he says there's six/seven, but that leaves out Rusty, because only Freud or Rusty or Hawkins would survive up to that point, and it's likely Hawkins died while in the Depths (he would NOT outlast Freud and Rusty chronologically when Pater becomes V.III, so Freud is still V.I and Rusty is technically V.II. It's also possible that Snail was still V.II (because they couldn't confirm his death) and that Rusty was presumed dead when he fights you before Institute City (Arquebus pilots react in shock to seeing Rusty alive, meaning his survival was only known to Walter, Ayre, you, and likely other RLF members.) ALLMIND knows who lives and dies, so ALLMIND only clones seven copies of the Vespers to fight Walter and Carla, so only 1 of the Vespers survived, and Hawkins likely died, leaving Freud and Rusty. Freud would've been sent to dispatch the Xylem because Coral and what Arquebus wants, and would've died. This means Rusty survived. But they didn't clone Rusty, as they only mention seven. Alea Iacta Est is the ending where Rusty is most likely to survive. Liberator of Rubicon? Rusty COULD'VE survived, but we don't know. Likely he died, but he could've had a chance. Fires of Raven? He died. It's not a competition. In conclusion, Rusty likely lived in Alea Iacta Est, most likely out of all three endings.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he did actually survive Walter’s attack. His timing on the escape switch is godly, seeing as how it saved him at least once in a fight with us, and depending on how much you let him fight for you, at least twice

Old AC games actually have just as much lore...

@@draydra Lore, sure. But take ACFA for example. There is basically no story whatsoever right up until the very end (the assault cell situation is explained in the penultimate mission of only one route), and Lynxes bantering with each other is so rare that Wynne and Saland exchanging one line legitimately surprised me. Of course the old games have tons of lore, but what I'm getting at is that (in my opinion) they never managed to have a compelling plot with effective characters until now. Gen 5 tries a little, but even then I think J is just about the only interesting pilot (mostly due to how he relates to the previous games).

Fire playthrough Corp Hound, as Walter basically trained me to. Second Run, Defending Dog, as 621 is seemingly AWARE of the Cycle. Thrid Run, Gun of God... not, third run was a complete and utter "WTF!?" moment... But hey its also the Kill Iguana run as he get fightable 4? times...
