People forget that by the time 1600's roll around, armor has been perfected. "Improvements" in design. In the modern era just make it less protective. There is a large cottage industry around.the world the supplies us with armor. Vendors tend to be recommended based on experience and word of mouth.

@@madogblue some use.perforated plate but most have maximum regulated width of 1 square inch for all opening. Accidents can and do happen however.

@Average Citizen its a combat sport. Lots of brotherhood in MMA. No less savage when they get in the ring. This is no different.
