Avoid fighting in a losing position for an extended amount of time. Its the grinders that cause cell damage. Keep the ecentric movement short and sweet.
The best way to arm wrestle with others for safety is for the two pullers to focus on one of them only in every pull, and talk it out before hand. That way , the focus is on learning and coordination in different angles to the pullers choice . Then they can switch , but only one person is training at a time . What happens however in most groups because of too much ego maybe everybody pulls everyone max effort. Another issue with weekly practices is that you wasted 10 out of 10 energy points you have a week for training arms . Where is the gym/resistance training time going to fit, where you get stronger more efficiently? Perhaps that’s more common with west vs east arm wrestlers.
@@valeriolucentini5436 I saw an interview with him where he said he only pulls once every 3 to 4 weeks. I do not recall where but it was recent. Perhaps he was only referring to one stretch of time.
That's because they are already built up to the point where they only have to do it every three to four weeks. For someone like you that doesn't have those types of tendons, you have to do it more often
Thanks for this video. The guys at my club are all weight classes above me and I feel so weak and getting injured constantly. This video definitely helps, thanks
I had some doubts about some of these methods, but if it's confirmed by Bob, I will surely keep doing it ^^ Passive pressure at the end of session, and blood flow stimulation between sparring sessions. Thanks for the advice Bob!
Incredible advice. Thank you so much. I used to rehab in thus manner when I was a competitive runner; doing air squats, jumps, ice/heat/ice and a light run after a heavy workout or meet, followed by pretty much the same thing for a couple days after. Worked great then, and I'm not sure why I haven't been doing this for arm wrestling.
Been doing gym lifts for 20yrs. Started doing hard table time for 4 months. ALL my gym lifts have gone down lol...takes a good 6-7 days before i can even bench or do pullups again at all and even then its at 50% capacity
Lately ive been able to armwrestle hard twice a week plus gym work withput much soreness, but tbh i dont feel im getting much stronger. Probably cause of the constant break down.
Levan talks about that you should only do a maximum of 1 hour of hard pulling a week or else it will negatively affect your strength gains. I think he’s onto something since he’s head and shoulders above everyone else.
Ice tub for 15 minutes then sore muscle cream. It's changed the recovery game for me. That and doing light weight high reps. Them two combined in a 2 day period and you're golden
I hope you enjoyed camping. Do u end on cold or hot on contrast bath. Who do you think will win the round robin betwee Sill, underwood, ayello, shaw? I wanna see sill win!
This is very similar to what I currently do. Except, the next day, I’m doing heavy powerlifting training and in agony, lol. Sometimes, the same night. Definitely don’t recommend.
