Army Veteran Tom Voss, who took a 2,700-mile trek from Milwaukee to LA with a veteran friend, talks about how the trek helped him better understand the work he still needed to do so as to truly heal from his PTSD and moral injury. "The trek helped me go through this big, heavy basket of rocks I had been carrying around, understand why it was weighing me down, and how to deal with each rock - each experience, each loss - one at a time.," he says.
