That's the type of system I finally went with. The South African combat vest. I injured my neck and back in the service and can't really do much humping with a fully packed Rucksack. My water kit is purification tablets, Sawyer Mini, and boiling. Fire is three lighters, two dozen lifeboat matches, 6" ferro rod, a jewelers loop. BCB cooker w/cubes, and a U.S. GI stainless canteen cup... and enough coffee for 4 cups a day for a week, and assorted tea. My med kit is fully combat stocked, and the "feel good" stuff, besides my heart meds... Two ponchos for shelter and Snugpak Jungle blanket. My water is on my web belt - two quarts
Good video, for emergency food I carry Beef Jerky, (dried smoked beef as in Jack links) than I carry on my webbing is 4 canteens and a 3 liter camekbak, the food and poncho and para cord is in my buttpack. Also I have 2 200rd saw pouch's with first aid in one and the other is survival kit. Plus I carry a Becker bk 9. In a pinch I can go for 3 days if I need to just out of my webbing.
Ammo pouches were replaced with utility pouches to allow for more storage. Webbing configuration was still comfortable and practical for use. In military. Utility puches are often used in place of ammo puches depending on which weapon system is being used.
I seen a lot of bad but I like that the most of the go right around my way I won't get heated or hot or anyting I think that it's a better fit with a sling bag I think that's a better fit for me that is really holding me down for a s c I like that I like to have 1
Good video, i support your choice for the webbing, very useful.. I am trying to find the same original mug with yours in value price,, but nothing.. May you suggest me a good seller please??? Many thanks
@@prepperal4677 Thanks for your message. I was trying in ebay. i found in UK but it gives extremely high shipping and the prices are about gbp 18-20.00 with the same shipping....Thanks for the help..
Hi. I accidentally deleted your last comment. Yes. The high prices are due to brexit. The worst decision the UK ever made. If you cannot buy a british style mug. Then i will suggest buy German. Good quality and EU prices etc.
@@prepperal4677 Thanks for your message again,, I bought unfortunately the German but it is too small for the osprey 1lt uk water bottle... After brexit we ca not buy anything from UK.. ,,they sk from us extremely hi shipping.....
I prefer kitkat. The Snowballs will be easily squashed if I put them in the webbing. However kitkat are more practical shape and and will take up less space so I can pack more supplies. Thank you for your insightful question.
Ah, What did he say now? Joking aside I like the PLCE system except for one thing...The magazine pouches are right under your arms. I find that uncomfortable. Brit Troopers must run around w/arms held out like Gorillas?
I know what you mean. Practice makes perfect so there is no fumbling around. The idea of the magazine pouches being at the side is so that when we are in prone position we are not lying on top of our magazines.
