Great Job Dirk! I like the IMamba. It does look like a Sebenza but it even more looks like an mnandi … just to a larger scale. It’s a really well made knife … pretty unique with the handle materials
I LOVE his work, by what I’ve heard about him. I hear nothing but great things about him from a few friends that I trust a lot with their input on customs. I have to grab one this year. I have an affinity for South African makers and as I’ve always said, there is something in their water supply that inherently makes them all better knife makers that have incredibly high attention to detail. The attention is in the details with many of the s African makers. I started with Andre de Villiers, and made my around a little, and I’m now at the point that if I hear they’re from South Africa, I’m immediately paying attention. This model looks like a Koenig had relationship with a sebenza, and had a baby that could have some relation to a quantum 111. I like this. I’m liking this one. The BTE is significant to me, for an edc while trying to flex my folders into food prep roles on the go with my child. The tusk looks like mammoth tooth too!! Very attractive pivot.
