"Around the fire" is quite possibly my favorite tune from the Skyrim soundtrack. It feels so cozy and intimate, yet at the same time inspired and somehow elevated. Your interpretation and arrangement is exquisite, and the performance is just lovely. I really liked that little harmonisation bit at around 2:57... such a nice flourish.
Excellent release!!! In your performance, the works of Jeremy Soule take on a true sound. In my opinion, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion soundtrack is also worthy of attention.
I can't believe that you are still making these beautiful covers and videos for such an amazing game! If I Could I'd surely donate for your hardwork! To be honest I'm always visiting your channel just to see if you uploaded another Skyrim song, it's truly heartwarming, Wish you the best!
Amazing as always. I'd love to see you trying songs from World of Warcraft. It have a lot of good Tavern Songs like ''Lion's Pride'' , ''Stonefire'', ''Thunderbrew'' and many others that would go great with your lute. Cheers and keep going!
I'm planning to get myself a lute and getting into playing ! Do you have by chance any advice ? I'm playing guitar and accordion, i was wondering if it was that hard to learn alone, or if i should get a teacher ?
For a person who wants to start playing instrument, (especially a string instrument) but isn’t super skilled with his fingers what instrument do you recommend?
Good Morning Daniel, A nice tune. Thanks for posting. As a non gamer I have never heard this before and I was wondering how you, also a non gamer, get drawn to these tunes? Are they recommended by viewers or do you actively hunt them down? Whatever it is just keep on doing it! I might have to rerun this piece this evening "Around the fire" as we are having a BBQ with the kids later! Propane powered BBQ though so at least I don't have the chore of setting a fire and dealing with the ash later. Taste the meat not the heat as "Hank Hill" would say! (Shame they pulled that cartoon series) Keep Safe and Keep Playing Clive
Beautiful !, but I had know idea of the genre. So...I googled. Very nice tune. Your interpretation is more sedate and introspective than the original. No worries. I guess that accounts for the fact that you look like a Benedictine monk in this post. lol 🙂
Hey Dan! If you're feeling up to it, I'd love to hear one of the lute duets from Baldur's Gate 3! There's a video of them all here- ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_vLTaJJfPjA.html
