@@knobsswitches It is true. I am watching demos in different channels about this synth and always is the same. Your demo is different (at least) for me. I am thinking in this case con Antonus (clone) 2600. Do you know this model?
Hi! Thanks for the great demo! I really enjoyed the music! I love the duophonic @13:35 is that possible with midi do you know? Are you using CV from Keystep for this? Thanks again gr8 video!
Just found your review of this great synth. Here's my question: I have a Eurorack modular set-up and am wondering if the 2600 could be sequenced by it. Specifically, could it be sequenced by a module such as the Mutable Instruments Marbles, without passing through a CV-to-MIDI converter?
The whole thing about reissuing but only in small batches is really annoying. Just when you get enough money to buy it, the thing you want is sold out. Pfff.
if you have tons of modules, you probably don't need an ARP2600m. I really like it because the sound is unique and the handling is just great. you can quickly get great results without patching and then really step on the gas with the help of additional modules. In my opinion, it enriches every set-up. But that is of course always a matter of taste
No. I would say it‘s the same! I did not played the 2600FS yet, but I had the original 2600. And for me it‘s definitely the same sound aesthetic and spirit
i can live with it. with the original i had always the problem that after removing the plug the function was dead. for example i put another waveform in the audio mixer for the vco1 (square). and after remocing the channel was dead :-(
