A pro-Palestine protest at the University of Texas at Austin led to the arrest of 57 people for criminal trespass, but the Travis County Attorney's Office later dropped all charges due to lack of sufficient probable cause. The university suspended the Palestine Solidarity Committee, citing alleged violations of institutional rules, and those arrested may face restrictions on campus activities despite the dropped charges.

The right to freedom to protest and speech, does not include the right to set up encampments in Uni Campuses. Does not give them the right to intimidate and frightened other (Jewish) students. The has to also include responsiblities and limits within the First Amendment. To peacefully debate on campus is allowed... to take over and encamp and occupy the campus is NOT allowed in law.
