Watching this in theatre's for the first time, I can safely say that all of the notes that were described and sought after were perfectly executed and delivered. Parts of me wanted the protagonist to anxiously run away or get curiously closer and admire them. Amazing work.
Thanks for the feedback! Maybe I can alternate between posting stem layers and commentary videos. If you haven't checked out my Instagram, it's mostly stems: instagram.com/indepthsounddesign/
Awesome! Pretty hard for me to understand everything because their accents and English not being my native language, it would be amazing if you can subtitle the next ones with difficult accents. This channel deserves a lot more of viewers, it's a gem. Regards from Argentina
Thanks so much for the great feedback. Even I had trouble with the accents here especially because they’re making a ton of obscure references. I really wanted to subtitle it but it’s either expensive or a lot of work. Thinking about starting a Patreon soon to help support the channel. Thanks so much for your interest. If you have any specific questions let me know!
It’s all about biology, ours and theirs, and the correlation and incompatibility of the two. It’s a simple concept and it’s portrayed really well here! Dune is another notable picture where this seemed to be taken into account.
May I ask where do you source these commentaries from? It seems like some of these are from podcasts or recorded from live presentations. I would love to check out the full source if there are any, thank you!
Hello! :) Do you guys have any idea how the sound of the heptapods touching the barrier/glass wall was designed from? I mean the elements or the technique applied on the making of it. Thank you!
Why wouldn't show heads inform their personnel as to what the hell their creature is instead of just making them guess & go through all that work that may not be accurate as to what the show heads want? Idk, to each their own...way with things.
