The front and rear shock towers in the fire team have holes to mount every single body pots and mounts arrma makes for their 6s off road trucks . The body posts of the kraton would fit right on the fireteam. The cool thing with arrma is you can make whatever you want with their trucks. People bought the mojave and put kraton arms and backflip wheels on it bassicly making the fireteam minus the body. You can play with the different shock towers ect.

Pro tip- move the battery tray back it has two positions on the 1/7 size chassis. Jumps way flatter you don’t need to mess w/ the shocks that’s just a bend aid 👌🏼🤙🏼

Since you're a racer and enjoy a good driving experience, the Arrma Talion would be the best Arrma for you!! It handles like a dream, it's so balanced in the air, and it's stable at high speeds. You can also bash it!! 👍💪

I agree 👍. The fireteam is a dream to drive. It handles so well. I'm also someone who doesn't full on bash my RC's so it's perfect for my driving style and plenty durable enough for medium bashing. Definitely one of the fastest larger RC's I own.

I have one of these and I love it! Give Pro Line a month or two and I bet they will release a body for it. What is cool is you can order the clear/painted body pieces separately. Good start for customization there

I agree with pretty much everything, it's a really fun driver, and yes the body takes some getting used to putting on, and the clips are crazy tight, almost need needle nose pliers...it definitely rips!!!

Atomik rc 4250gm is the aluminum version of what you broke. I got these for my kraton. You'll never need to replace them again. The stock plastic ones are easy to cross thread as well.

Ok I get it this RC was built with regards to the Military, and it helps to have that kind of Military background to appreciate it. It is not your standard brasher RC. But I love mine even though I put a Hobbywing max 6 system in it just to give it a little more pep to act like a flipper, but also I’m a retired USN guy to.

Rolled my fireteam wheel side spinning for a good 100 feet at max speed. Nothing broke!!!! The tire glue got jacked, but can still drive like new!

I still enjoy my axial yeti even though it's slow (14mph!) but if you drive in the right areas slow/medium speed scale bashers can be really fun! Glad to see more of these come out to the market in recent years (UDR, LMT, Lasernut, etc.)

I had a Yeti and I loved it but sold it. I have a Bomber 2.0 now with a Castle 3800kv motor and it probably does around 30mph. These cage style RC's are my favorite.

I would say that the statement about driving a car (or any other vehicle) to its full potential also applies to regular 1:1-sized vehicles as well. If your goal is to get as much performance as you can, you _have_ to push it to the breaking point, and eventually things _will_ break. Ask any kind of vehicle race driver.

Really neat rig. Not a fan of the tires but I get the look they are going for. I’ve always wanted a true e brake in a car. I’m glad it’s more of a mainstream concept put into action now.

Bummer it broke. Mine did a complete noise dive & it survived but as far as jumping it I’ve seen people just sending it & in the right hands can be jumped & bashed hard. I’m like you though I don’t jump it like I’ve seen people do but you definitely have to find somewhere that has areas you can jump it. Glad to see you got it out though. I haven’t but in the speed pinion yet but it hauls on 6S. It’s exactly like you said though it’s a pleasure to drive & is very stable. Super nice RC overall. I’m mostly into Crawlers but I had to get this one & glad I did.

They have a lower k diff fluid in it because of the e-brake if they have a thicker diff fluid in the center diff when you lock that e-brake up you're going to burn stuff up that's also why it has an aluminum center diff case because of the e-brake you take that e-brake off then you can bump the center diff fluid up

I have the same system in one of my trucks and I love it but only 17 tooth pinion with the regular d boots tires or the version 5 tires it clogs when I start out when I got it out of the box it did standing backflips on a 12 tooth I love it I need a 160 amp though my truck's a little heavy

Had an hpi Apache buggy that the rear end always bumped up in the air, tried stiffer springs and thicker oil, never did get it right and got rid of it.

I just ordered one of these. I was thinking it'd be amazing at the sand dunes. The durability concerns me a little... I do want to jump it but I'm not looking to go over the top with it. I like the idea of changing the center diff fluid. I also think based on what you said, the rear shocks could use thicker fluid to control the rebound. I'm also curious if it'll crawl.

Yup the arrma systems are rebranded hobbywing motors and escs...I think they have the best rtr electronics hands down! Well in their 6s vehicles anyway. I wasn't a big fan of the older 3s blx100 escs before the switch to Spectrum. They just had the lvc cutoff too high for my liking where it would think it hits lvc under full throttle and about 40% left in lipos but wasn't too close to actual lvc Voltage

Arrma diffs come about half filled from factory. I added 20 million to top off the center diff in my mojave exb and it scoots.

I just bought my first hobby grade RC car. RMX 2.0 rtr. its a RWD drift car since the track in my area only allows rwd and a certain tire on. drifting is fun! any ideas on a 1/10th scale cars that I can drive around on the road? the drift cars are cool but just running it on concrete scuffed up my tire bad lol. its okay I used the stock tires for road testing, saving my track tires for track time. I just want an RTR scale looking car.

Mark, when you say it's not really for hardcore bashing... Have you ever checked out Rich Duperbash, or RCDude81? Hardest bashers on YT, by far. They are sending the Fireteam 50-60 feet high with no problems. Check em out, you may re-think what you're saying about this rig. Also, as for the diffs, 500k center, 20k rear, and 50k front is the sweet spot. ZRS bladder-less emulsion style shock setup from M2C, a few other key upgrades from M2C and Carbon fiber from Basherqueen. This thing is a beast. Pair up a Hobbywing Max6 combo, with 1650kv motor and this will be the most fun you'll have with a basher! That's how I run mine, and it's insane! BTW, 4 screws to add two front body posts, and there are several killer body choices. HPI Savage XL bodies all fit perfect, along with some Losi bodies as well. JayTeeRC has multiple vids showing how to do this. Maybe the in air characteristics are a little different due to Air passing through the body as compared to around the body as is with most other shells for RC cars…

Your comment on the 'Toyish appearance' is also the put-off for me. Horizon recently got my nod for a SCX10 III JLU; if I get a 6S basher to chronically break and order new parts for I'll peel off $50 more for the Sledge.

You are gonna find that allot of those Arrma vehicles share parts. My Mojave shares parts with the Typhon so i asked my local hobby store for the Typhon parts and boom! Fixed!Atleast the 1/7 scale ones do from what i have found

I want to like this one as I love my Kraton but I’m having a hard time overlooking the body and the price. Arrma is poking eyes just like Traxxas does with the Sledge. Infraction has a handbrake, looks fantastic, it’s ridiculously fast and it’s $699. $700 is a reasonable price point for this size of car.

Dang put me on the spot like that! hahaha It really is tough. It really depends on what you want it for. The sledge is pretty versatile however i like the realistic look of the fireteam. I cant answer!

As usual you did an excellent review. The first person camera shot was great. I think the car/truck would be great on the wider trails with water hazards. The soft suspension a you said makes it easier to drive and I personally, not to being a hard core basher, would like that. I wonder what it would look like on one of your evening trail runs with some lights added and the first person camera views? With the unusual tires, soft suspension, 1/7 size make, etc it a whole different class of r/c.

This is a awesome truggy and yeah like anything els it can break, also maybe it's rear coil springs are too stiff so the car bucks on a jump landing and causes it to launch its back end more than the front as it leaves the jump, man I'd give my left nut to own this car lol, but I can't even afford a budget one because my wife is the boss of income around ere even though its mine so I just look at vids on RU-vid and wish 🤣👍, thanks for your cool videos buddy ✌

If ya have a basher that hasn't broken it's only because ya haven't been bashing the crap out of it. 🤔 Love the FireTeam seems pretty dang tough and handles well. I love the body myself. ✌️
