I loved the look when it came out. Was actually not gonna get it do to $800 out the door. But the black Friday deals, $399 for a 6s which it the same I paid for a new Rustler 4x4 vxl. And close to the Typhon 3S. People held out long enough they had to many and we reaped the benefits. We got for dealer cost. Shoot the electronics cost that much and I have spares. In order Notorious, Kraton, Typhon and now Fireteam. My local hobby shop didn't have them on sale but did honor it for me as I do all my shopping through them and have spent a lot more money than I should've. 2020 started with the Rustler 4x4 vxl (BAM). Hooked and felt like a kid again now 10 rc later in order. Traxxas: Rustler 4x4 vxl, used slash 2WD, THE last slash 2WD With On Board Audio as discontinued, Hoss 4x4, Notorious/Outcast, Kraton and the Xmaxx and now the Fireteam. Arrma 6s line is on point with weight and stability. Glad the spektrum systems are getting better attention and made better than before. Miss the Arrma electronics. But the Xmaxx is getting a lil to much weight to move it around after multiple back surgeries and 4 on the ankle. And I'm loving the Fireteam performance and so bye-bye Xmaxx.
I got one on sale for Christmas. I haven't even driven it yet. I changed the centerbraces to the exb versions and moved the battery tray back. I can't wait to get it out! The weather has been crazy.
I love my FIRETEAM and yes I had to replace the body but that was cool for me because I like painting bodies , so I bought the clear body and painted it. Very fun RC to drive. Very nice video. Thanks
We have the same skills. The only car in the lot and it slides at it, you clinch then it ends up on wheels like "what"? 🤣🤣 🚀💯🔥🚀💪 Did you ever move the battery tray back to make it moree stable and less nose heavy? I also disconnected the hand brake. The thing doesn't roll sideways only forward. Lol. But can make evasive actions without hand brake. It pulls on cat pack and if accidentally held while on throttle it can blow the center diff. After warranty it comes oût.
Can't wait to get mine on the road, replaced with carbon shock towers, EXB braces and moved batt back, have 500k diff oil but still not sure yet... did you lose your Hand brake when you changed your diff oil. Also have an EXB chassis but might bash the stock a bit first...and did you shim yet. Im looking for some cool 4.5 inch action figures that i can rip the heads off and mod my soldiers...lol. velcro interchangeable heads. Ha ha .. I dunno, might just leave it too... ex military and all.. Great video.
Hand brake is still intact. Diffs are shimmed. This video was like 3 months ago dude I STILL haven’t broken this thing! Just added a better servo and that’s all. Oh and outcast EXB tires
Much more air control with 500k in the center. That thing nosedives on stock oils. They seem to put the standard TYPHON 6S oil ratio in all the 6s line which is odd. Nice run buddy
Yeah I’ve never seen the “why” for the ole 10/100/10k diff oil set up. Got most of my EXB Mojave parts that’ll fit this beast in yesterday. Time to make it even stronger 💪🏼
Yessir! Since this video I’ve modified it a little. Speed pinion. 500k center diff oil. Mojave EXB chassis and chassis braces and outcast backflips. I STILL HAVENT BROKEN IT EITHER! 😲
