Gap AtoZ thinks people speaking against this truck are haters and that you don't know what you're doing. He's paid and gets perks for praising these products. Keep speaking the truth brother. 🤘
My Talion bearings go out like that as well. Mainly it’s just the bearing covers coming off. What makes it for me to believe is that the Talion hubs being thinner than the Kraton hubs width wise, gives the Talion hubs LESS plastic flexibility. Transferring all the force and leverage onto the bearings in turn blowing them out like that. I believe you’d be better off with Kraton hubs for the flexibility you want on impact and big hits
The hell with people Earl. People are just stupid. You are spot on. It's overpriced for what you get. Arrma is a very durable R/C. Arrma rushed this R/C to market. All the little issues prove this R/C was rushed. At that price point you shouldn't have any issues.
My hobby store in Toronto prices this at $949.00 and then add the 13% Ontario sales tax . For that kinda $$$ I have 2 or 3 cars on my wish list before I would consider this rig.
You have not hated on this RC. You ran it and things fell out and fell apart. Its called here is what you get out of the box for roughly 800 bucks. Not where my money is gonna go but if i did purchase one i at least know what to look over before i rip it.
The thing is, do we think that influencers received off the shelf models? I know in other industries influencers will get "cherry" versions that are checked to make sure they work perfectly before they are sent. I'm not saying Arrma did that, but not a single influencer had a complaint on the build quality. It really makes you think though.
I wonder if the body fitment is being caused by the chassis maybe being a little bent? I Know this Vid has been out for a while E but I just got my FT and I was wondering..... only because you said that you did bash the RC pretty hard...... thanks for sharing.....
People who listen or even support these “influencers” get what they deserve. All those RU-vidrs are doing is creating paid commercials that people think are actual evaluations. Stop supporting these junk RU-vidrs and cut your subscriptions. You do a great job Earl.
i paid $399 from Amain for black friday. cannot beat that value. so far so good haven't had to wrench it yet after two packs run through it. it's tumbled 75ft on one roll no breaks.
Earl brother you're awesome..You do a great job and the hail with those that have a problem with it including Arrma. And this is coming from a guy who loves Arrma and I almost have every RC they've made. I tune in for your opinion and damm anybody that tries to control your happiness or opinion. We are RC guys. You have a ton of rc's. I would challenge these companies to do a live review of their products WITH guys like you and stop hiding in the dark and complaining to MY guys! We need to set a standard in this industry. $800 for an RC is an investment. RTR should be RTR and it's not. If they care so much about what we think and if ANY company stands by their product..well let's have a serious breakdown and disassemble on every RC released with a company engineer. That way people heavy into RC can submit questions and see guys like Earl or including a panel (RC Guy, Razor Rc ect) ask the questions that a lot of people DON'T KNOW to ask, this partly why we tune in. It would be killer for us and them and the sport. They want to drive sales..WELL THEN BE OPEN TO THE PEOPLE LIKE MY BROTHER EARL AND RC GUY! Don't pick and choose your reviewers..Come out in the sun and get a tan. SO in the words of the movie Dark Knight ( Earl being The Joker) "Earl's taken off his mask now will they do the same?" Great video.
Smae kids putting those together are the same kids that put Iphones together look it up cheap labor an overcharge the ship out of your wallet for a junk ace phone
I didn’t hear you once say it sucked. I do hear you being completely honest about some few parts. People jump straight to conclusions and put words in others mouths. This truck is killing it so far. It’s tough af.. enough said…
Earl, thank you for you correction on your review of the Fire Team 6, I went thru every bolt and nut on my newly purchased Fire Team after your video and did find some minor issues with tightness and no thread lock on some of the bolts. I consider these things minor . I will make it a practice to check every model out regardless of brand name.I subscribed to your channel and respect your view.✔
Thanks 🙏 if we can find the small issue before it becomes a big issue and save us some money on repairs it’s worth the lashing I get fir bringing it up 👍👍appreciate the support 💯💯
I have always wanted to buy a kraton. I once got a granite brushed for my daughter. She never used it every time I used it , it broke. I hated that thing. I was looking for a deal.on a kraton.. I didn't like the new diff s in them. I just didn't trust a new design. All I could find was a used roller on ebay for 300$. Was afraid I was buying something that was beat down. Then I researched the new corally kronos. New improved center brace knuckles drive cups made of spring steel. Extra clear body for 450. Kraton exb was 470. Kraton tires are not very good. Kronos has very nice looking spike tires like back flip tires . I got the Kronos. I still may some day buy a kraton or a talion. 6s. For now I think I got a better deal . I appreciate your love for arrma tough. I noticed you have 3 arrma notorious/outcast trucks. So you must really like them. I have a stunt truck already. Redcat mt8e/be6s. It's a beast. I upgraded it to be6s. But I wanted a kraton sized truck. You keep bashing and giving great advice. I'll keep watching. 😎👍
My first 1/8 Arrma was the V1 Kraton. 1st time out, I drove it for 2-3mins and a rear inner hub bearing popped. That was back when they used the stupid hex extensions instead of the longer hubs & axles. Since then, I only had that happen on Arrma's with the short hub, mostly my V2 Talion that I put MT tires on.
I agree 100% with you. “Ready to Run” should mean just that - “Ready to Run.” Sure, we all love to do upgrades, tweaks, personalizations, etc., but that shouldn’t mean the car arrives requiring to be gone through just to safely run it. People customize their full-sized cars, too, but Imagine the same people taking delivery on a brand new Toyota, and believing it’s fine if bearings break, bolts are missing and/or not torqued properly, and gearboxes not having any oil. They’d be making a social media firestorm.
I am just seeing your videos I have come across some Arrma Titanium Centre Drive thicker then the original let me know if you are interested I can send you the website
The truth will set you free! Id rather hear the truth than being lied to! There will always be haters! Dont let them get to you! Quality is getting worse! And the prices are going up! Welcome to America!
hey earl I dont have a the new arrma fireteam truck . but you did a great job showing us this truck. i think the fireteam truck is over priced. i dont think you even drove that hard for what happen to it . 750 800 dollar truck the motor should not come lose that could have been worse if you did not see it. i think the traxxas maxx truck is cheaper and tougher truck. great job earl. i trust your opinion earl.
Cant wait to see this Fire team done right Earl Moorhead "Addition" forget those stupid people. I love the way you show us the Good the bad and the ugly. You helped me alot with my Maxx
It was released here Monday but I think I will give this one a miss. A complete cage, body and figures is getting on for £300 to replace ☹️ tyres aren’t available yet. Infact replacement wheels for the Vendetta still aren’t available in the Uk.
I love watching your videos. It helps me and my boys understand how to tune, clean and maintain your rigs. This is the best hobby in the world. Keep them coming. Thank you.
Hi,got mine today in the uk and no locktight on motor mount screws thought I'd check thanks to your vid Take care gav 👍 and no oil in my mid diff glad I checked what a nightmare 😅
Really appreciate all your content Earl. Good luck with Project Fixedteam, F@%kedteam, or whatever we’re calling this Arrma pile o’ parts. I’m just glad there’s general education content resulting it. I’d have to doublecheck my subscriptions, but I think several of the rc channels that I follow did a video or 2 on the Fireteam, dubbed it the greatest rc ever, and haven’t done a minute of content about it since. Glad I’m subbed to a few guys spreading truth about Arrma. 👍
Yes massive sale good rc just was overpriced and needs lock tight before running it as no one bought them they went on a massive sale and arrma is showing how much markup they added to this product at least now it’s worth $399.00 for sure 👌👌
Love Arrma and their RTRs. Fans are going to upgrade and thank God there are lots of possibilities for upgrades and tinkering. But it doesn't mean one needs upgrade before it is actually useable. Tamiya RTR models are so called expert built models. I'd like to think the same of Arrma. A number of other youtubers are starting to report breakages such as the rear brace.
I just picked up one two for that same price $399.00 I love mine an the hand break is awesome I did have replaced the front bearing an fan broke other than that it's beast
To me the tower to tower brace Bends the chassis backwards in the rear if i nose land. It happened on my exb and my RTR since i removed it never bended again
I think Arrma should sell the Fireteam as a Roller too. I don't like the Handbrake and the AVC stuff. If People like these Things they can buy the RTR. I like Rollers or Kits more as RTR. But It's only my opinion. All the best from Germany
I wonder why Kevin Talbot had no problems with it...and he tells the truth. It seemed like you had problems doing small jumps...and here comes Kevin and sends it to the moon with no big issues...really weird....
Love the tech, but this platform just is not my cup of tea, but love wrenching, a buddy got the white one, body ripped, or cracked, and if you can believe it talk about quality control, the front right, driver side was missing the wheel nut lmfao, horizon is destroying their line 100%, tore the box completely apart to no avail, it was not there!!!
@@earlmoorhead5555 no brother, I saw that I had to edit it was the nut that held the wheel itself on, hobby shop was only a two hour drive lol!!!🤣 it happens I guess!
Lol you've been jumping rc cars for how long now? Doubt u suck at driving. People are just that immature when it comes to sticking up for little rc cars. Probably kids that's wish they had what u have. Heck I wish I have what u have but I'm not hideous like that. Good video and good info. 👊 Not showing true out of the box? What are u wrenching to downgrade before u drive it lol.
