I’m running the titan 12t with a 2s battery and I love it on the Gorgon . I had trouble Getting the pinion gear to line up with the spur gear after installing the titan . I had to make a spacer to back the engine out a little bit . I think I could have made it work by flipping the pinion the opposite Way I’m the shaft instead of making a spacer for The motor

There was a guy who used bed liner on his body and it helped out tons with bashing. Held up great. He used the professional stuff and had to take it to a shop. I think it's worth it. He said it was like 40 to have it sprayed.

Nice video! For how long did you have it in this setup and how did it hold up? Im planning to do this same upgrade because brushless seem too hard to control and from where I live we do not have much space to really make use of high speed setups

Bro I went threw 4 motors just do yourself a favor and spent 50 bucks on a king Val 3500kv 3660 motor w/60a esc and the 25$ spectrum slt300 receiver. It was 85 shipped. Go brushless

@@TheAnthonyBrandi thanks man, were you running 2s or 3s and how many turns motor were you using? The 60A ESC i got can run 3s but requires a 18T+ motor only. The available motor from where i live is 21T, so far i can say it got more punch than the stock setup doing wheelies and zipping here and there. Speed wise i cant test yet as we dont have long roads/streets not busy enough to test on. Cheers

Hey brother in stock power or even with a brushless it’s ok on grass. It still has nowhere near the power or weight of say my 3s big rock and that all wheel drive power and torque.

The esc is 3s compatible. Stock motor won't last. Even at 2s. But maybe with a upgraded motor. @@Dorkyand40

Love my brushed monster, all is good being at the second motor, other than the burnt smell, i see nothing wrong with brushed motors on these cars

No. Nothing wrong at all! I would have stayed stock but the latency on the remote or this esc was horrid.

Nice 👍 I'm going to run mine stock at first but I never seem to leave them that way long 😂 sounds like a sweet setup. So the 3660 is long enough so the motor wires clear the housing? And i've also decided instead of letting my dog chew up a brand new truck I'm going to bring back from the dead Traxxas 2×4 stamped that has a Rustler body on it that I had sitting in a corner. Going to put my brushed 12 turn and esc that used to be in my Grandson's Granite for the dog🐕

I did 2s lipo, 2 teeth bigger on the pinion, motor cooling fan. And ran 28mph. On stock motor. Updated: motor lasted thru about 15 packs before the brushes melted. On second motor now.
