Here's some harsh field testing 101 on some Killer new upgrade options from M2C Racing!!! No more being strapped to 14mm wheel hex options. This is the beginning of many great options parts you can expect for the ARRMA 3&4s line.
Nice bash brother🤘👍 I just did a rebuild on my v2 granite with the new V3 bumpers and body hot racing steel spur gear and cvd Sliders front and rear. I think my next upgrade is definitely going to be some M2C 17mm hexes and some new meats. Thanks for the awesome content as always Merry Christmas 🎅
Hi my friend, after watching these great Granite vids from you, I bought myself a brand new granite v3 😁😎. I will drive it in smaller places, where I do not can drive my k6s. Here in Germany we have not so much space like u did in USA 😞. I am absolutely stoked about these rig😜. Can you please tell me what is your setting for the slipper clutch? What oil you use in the shocks? And do you make something with the front and rear diffs, fill it with oil and when you do, what oil you use? A lot of questions... 😳 I hope you give me a little bit of your time.... Again 😊😎👊 P. S. Arrma should sponsor you much more in the future! This sell is solely yours!
Thanks Josh 🤗. It's an honor to test and help refine these fine M2C parts. Mitch is a brilliant machinist with an old school work ethic. Simply a pleasure to work with 😍🍻😎💪👊👊
You make it look so silky smooth and burning fast. Arrma 3 and 4S are among the very best Beasties out there. Don't know if I'd buy anything else these days.
Thanks so much Harry 😜. These rigs are incredible for the price 👀. Props to ARRMA for improving the latest versions 👍. With a few M2C options, they'll be next level. 🍻😎💪👊👊
Awesome vid!! Looking to get my first actual basher, have a Rock Rey but not really counting it. Looking at the Big Rock, but my guy at my LHS is trying to convince me on the Hoss. I'm not really seeing the justification in price on the Hoss. Seems like the $150 could go towards more batteries and spares for whatever may break on the BRCC. Looking to stay in the 2-3s realm. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks👍👊🍻
Thanks Tim 🤗. I would never pick the Hoss over the Big Rock V3, especially considering value to performance. Just doesn't add up. Not going to rib Traxxas, but they haven't changed much the past several years. Not much innovation going on. The biggest design advantage the 3s ARRMA's have is the telescopic center driveshaft. It affords Crazy durability without any chance of bending the driveline. Go with your gut, but hobby shops frequently push people towards Traxxas without ever actually beating on an ARRMA themselves. 🍻😎💪👊👊
It needs custom titanium chassis, you could build one stronger than steel, this thing can be (UNBREAKABLE) nice testing, ARRMA love's RC ideas.😀🤔🏗️👍🤨🎸🎶🎸🎶🎄🧙
What spur are you running with this 18t pinion? And if you don't mind what Amp esc/ motor kva? Thanks in advance. I'm building a 4s version atm out of parts. Trying to find the right right combination and your setup is exactly what I need every day after work in the space I have lol
Awesome bash as usual Rich! I am absolutely loving this 3s line. my son has the the same granite you have, I have the latest one and I bought my wife the typhon, she is new into the hobby so I bought her the mega brushed typhon, she drove it once and loved it, I drove it and the power just wasn't there. I put a new system in it without her knowing. should be fun? lol! anyways I was wondering if there will be shock tower parts available for these rigs? hope you and your family had a great XMAS!
Thanks so much Sean 🤗. Stoked to hear about your rigs 🍻. I'll pass it on to Mitch about the towers. Would be nice to see a strengthening cap atleast, similar to what GPM offers 🤔. Our goal is to add only minimal weight while carefully beefing these rigs up. Merry Christmas 🎄😎💪👊👊
Hey rich I just got my m2c racing m2c3160 typhon/mojave 17mm hub extenders do I need to get anything else for them to fit on my granite? I feel like I’m missing something
What an awesome Granite beatdown Brother Rich!!😱Love the M2C goodies coming to start furthering the capabilities of these little guys!💪💪 I'm blown away by the design of the rear support slide and motor mount!😍All the frontie to backies were just SICK man!! Wicked ramp sends too for such a small truck! The Granite is a true stuntmaster for sure!! Killer hauling ass rips and tight flip off the mounds! Just sweet bash and parts testing man! Finally got my Big Rock out for a test. More rains coming in so got out just in time!🤗 BASH ON brotha!!😎🚀🚀🤘🤘🍻
Thanks so much Brother Eric 😜. The M2C test parts are doing fantastic 👌. Felt Killer to get Orange Blur back out 😱🤣🤣. I'm surprised she handled the urban spots so well for her size and weight 👀. The wheels and shocks deserve some credit too. Took some seriously hard hits no problem 👍. The prototype motor mount and block/brace did Killer on the Big Rock today 😍. Wished I'd had another 4s pack with me cuz she felt tame on 3s afterwards 😂. Definitely felt way more planted with the 150A ESC and 4s pack weight 👌. GPM steering blocks now in full effect. Hopefully Mitch will offer them in the near future. Regardless, I beat on her full force and the prototype parts did their job 😍. So stoked to see these options becoming a reality!!!! Appreciate the kind words Brother. Let's hope for good weather going into the new year 🍻🤙🤙😎💪👊👊
Love your content bro. KEEP BASHING. 1 John 4:7-9 NIV God Is Love 7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
Terrible year for RC for me COVID hit got laid off had to sell my entire collection , managed to save up and get the Mojave exb , left it in my trunk over night came out to find my trunk pried open and my Mojave gone ......FML
Damn Curtis 😝. So sorry to hear that Brother. Wonder if you could make a claim with your auto insurance 🤔. Hope things turn around for you soon my friend. 🍻
Hey Rich! this may be a strange question and not about this video at all but i have 15 dollars to spend (for now) for the kraton 6s v5 should i get the exb front bumper the exb rear chasis brace or the exb front chasis brace. I can only get the exb stuff and all of those are the same price i know the m2c stuff is better and voltage hobbies but all they have at my local hobby shop is exb stuff and i dont want to wait so long for a order to get here thanks!
I would say grab the rear alloy chassis brace first. You'll want all 3 upgrades pretty soon if you're bashing moderately hard with her. M2C and Voltage are designed better and made of superior 7075 T6, but even 6061 is far better than plastic braces. 🍻😎💪👊👊
Hey bro I'm having problems with my exb. Ive broken back to back rear left side outdrives. After the first one I ran the truck for a couple of mins and broke it again im super confused as to why. That sides dog bone keeps coming out as well. Any advice?
My guess is the outdrive/dog bone pin is catching the arm or binding somehow 🤔. Double check your shock position and range of motion. It's probably happening with forced upward arm extension. The swaybar usually helps limit motion along with the shock travel. You could add a short piece of fuel tubing to the shock shafts as stoppers. That's an effective way to stop dog bones from popping out if other lengths are otherwise normal. 🍻
@@richduperbash2966 thanks for getting back to me! I ended up putting a small peice of plastic in the hub to push the dog bone into the outdrive cup. Shocks are at the same position as stock. I did find that the sway bar cover on the diff is missing the two small screws that push on the sway bar however not sure if this would cause the dog bone to pop out. I also noticed that the exb has rubber inserts in the outdrive cups. Im not aware if this is on any of the other versions. I'll be out running the truck tomorrow and see how it goes. If your not working join us if you want. If you do maybe you can help me trouble shoot this odd issue
@@rcunknown5303 I can't remember 100%, but believe ARRMA used the rubber outdrive inserts up front only 🤔. Honestly can't remember 🤣. I'm hoping to bash tomorrow, but have some family stuff to do with the kids too. I'll try and make it out either way. Itching to get some running in. 🍻
@@richduperbash2966 I just checked my truck and noticed no rubber inserts in the front outdrives only the rear lol. Maybe they mixed it up at the factory. However no issues with the front 🤔... I got an awesome bash at the elk corn bmx track yesterday sweet spot to bash. Hopefully we can bash it up tomorrow at the lightrial spot. If not happy bashing bro 👍
@@rcunknown5303 maybe it was just the rear for the inserts now that you mention it 🤔. Fronts are usually much more prone to displacement. Elkhorn is a great place to bash. The track operators use to be fine with it, but that changed awhile back. Glad you got a good bash in there. Not sure if they're racing bikes like usual with Covid. Was out there twice recently, but too many people on the track riding. 😝
Just xxxx MENTAL my dear brother...what did you injected in her 👀. AGREE they take some serious beating 🥰🥰🥰. Made my day, made my day❤, just going out for a snow bash 9.04 am...stay safe Rich, mich ❤ from the Petterssons to you and the rest 😍
Thanks so much dear Brother 😍. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas 🥰🥰🥰 and a Killer snow bash as always. Can't wait to see and hear about it Thomas 👀👍👍😎💪👊👊
Never underestimate the beating that the 4s and 3s can take. You are giving her hell brother and she just took it, definitely a nice session.👌👌 Those hex adapters look great too, I just want to see Mitch come out with some hubs and steering blocks for the 3s and 4s line. Merry Christmas brother 🤙🤙
Thanks so much Brother and Merry Christmas 🤗. I'm astounded by the beating these rigs can handle 👀. I can about guarantee you'll be seeing hubs and steering blocks fairly soon. Already recommended them to the Wizard Mitch 🤣🍻🤙🤙😎💪👊👊
@@williamperri3437 I run 100mm in the front and 110 mm in the rear on my Typhon, they're only a few MM off but you can't tell the difference at all. Plus they're just total beefcake.
Yeah Rich 🤘 Arrma Granite 3s forever 😎, this little guy is really a beast, too fun to drive and a real bomb even as standard. Very nice de New M2C 17mm extenders, I was watching them too, because they inspire me so much 🙂💪. As always very nice big session Brother 🚀🚀🤘🤘😎🤝
Thanks so much David 🤗. Can't explain why she's sat for so long. Such a FUN little Ripper 😱🥰🥰. Tough as few. Loving these M2C Hex's 😍. Appreciate your kind words Brother. Hope you had a great Christmas 🍻🤙🤙😎💪👊👊

Another great breakdown and Bash brother Rich.... Merry Christmas to you and yours. Some quick trigger action with this Plastastic little beast! That Frontie to Double back 😉😎😳💪🚀🚀 Sock stuff as always I can't eat to get back into town and test my 17mm package from Mitch as well, I have a little somthing planned for the Senton should be fun! Them M2C hop Ups now coming to the 3s/4s line is so helpful to the community!! #ARRMATOUGH #M2CTough #MitchLooperRocks Rock on brother! 😎👍🚀🚀🚀🍻
Thanks so much Brother Dennis 😜. Took me a minute to adjust to this chunky monkey 🤣. I realized I was leaking oil up front and lost dampening the first session 😝. Finally rebuilt my Tekno shocks and got her dialed 👌. She did Killer for how rough and rocky these spots are. So stoked Mitch is finally putting his magic touch on these little Rippers 😍. Doesn't take much to make them about perfect. So grateful for what he and the entire M2C team does. Your Senton is going to be a little Beast I'm sure!!!! Merry Christmas Brother 🤗👍👍😎💪👊👊
Bada$$ brother! Im a 1/5 guy as im sure you can tell by my name haha, I have the Arrma Granite 4x4 3s BLX and the little guy BOOGIES on 3S very surprised! I keep it in my trunk at all times for anytime bashing!
That's a Fantastic idea Brother 😱. Great travel rig for sure. I get nervous about leaving Lipos in my car, but it's probably fine during these colder months. The Granite packs a serious punch for her size. 🍻😎💪👊👊
@@richduperbash2966 Thanks brother!🤝 yea i did too at first but its been fine the lipo is strapped in the Granite at all times" not connected of course" to keep from sliding around and such and like you said its colder weather here in Massachusetts so its all good! @@redtruck32 I haven't with the granite, but did with my Big Rock speed build. It's easy to swap on the longer arms and toe links. Several guys have widened their Granite this way. 🍻

Hey rich I've commented before. You said I'll need to change axles out for granite Stubbs. And you'd explained the internal thread to external. But on my 2020 v3 typhon the parts say I've got the internal axles and the granite has the external. Sorry if I'm battering your brain just want to make sure the information is 100%
I'll link you to the Granite axels. Just an FYI, Mitch might offer a direct fit hex extender for the Typhon 3s too. www.amainhobbies.com/arrma-4x4-wheel-axle-2-ara310784/p707207?gclid=Cj0KCQiAoab_BRCxARIsANMx4S5iDQfl2n01837TvQpxNZFN3F6pAck2nDFlaEI5gDBiw9tvvu0SaZUaAv71EALw_wcB
@@richduperbash2966 seen Kev add these to the Mojave. It has exactly the same axle set up as typhon 3s v3 so looks like I'm good to go. And thanks for replying dude.
Hey Rich, I really love your posts. just got my first RC today for Christmas it’s the big rock. Want to get all the upgrades u did for it. super love the thing really want to get some of those 17 mill hex extenders and really wanna get my roommates son into this hobby with me. was thinking about getting the granite for his first rig. is there any way to tell when these hex extenders will be available? I really want to get my hands on some. Keep up the good work man🍻
Thanks much Mike and Congrats on your new Big Rock 😱!!!! Not certain when these will hit the M2C website, but it shouldn't be too long. They've passed hard field testing in my book. Parts fit and function perfectly under harsh use 👌. Merry Christmas my friend. 🍻😎💪👊👊
Congrats, insane drive skill! I would like to buy a granite too, the battery for this beast is better 5000mah or 6000mah? 70C or 100C? Thanks so much for the advice bro! 👍🏼💪🏼
These are Tekno eb48.4 buggy shocks I borrowed straight off my stock race rig. Not sure where to source them at a decent price. They came with the kit. g.co/kgs/m6g9g7
Rich Duperbash hell yeah man, I’m looking for a solid upgrade on my granite but can’t seem to find much. I’ve heard that the typhon 6s shocks are good but I can’t find em... these Tekno shocks you showed were fucking bad ass.
Thanks so much Peter 🍻. This Granite is a little Beast 👀. It's a challenge to keep the front end down, but she flips like no other in the air and takes some serious punishment 😎💪👊👊
Awesome vid bro. I’ve been watching the channel for a while but I’m a new subscriber. I don’t think I’ve seen any videos as good as this showing how much punishment the 3s Granite can take!!! Keep sending it. I snapped my fingers to teleport to this area to run my rc’s but it didn’t work. Oh well I'll just watch you. 🤣😂🤪🤣🤣😂👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hey Rich. I have a question for you about the granite. I have a lot of problems getting dirt inside of my power module. Do you recommend drilling a hole under it to keep the dirt out?
Yes indeed my friend 🤗. Was just talking about this again with my first Outcast 4s V2 vid a few weeks ago. It's a critical mod that completely saves your slipper and front motor bearings. 🍻😎💪👊👊
Hopefully soon 👍. I've given my stamp of approval as far as testing is concerned. I'd expect production to start shortly. The demand for M2C parts and their product line are both growing 👀. Expect to see titanium and hardened steel option parts for the 6-8s rigs on the website also. Mitch's latest machine has opened the doors for a plethora of key new upgrades; driveshafts, axels....you name it. 🍻😎💪👊👊
Does your granite stay straight or you’re fighting it. I have to fight my mine to stay straight no matter the trim setting. Probably going to buy the HR bellcrank
Mine stays pretty straight overall. Only steering upgrade was GPM steering blocks. My toe is about even, maybe slightly toe out. I think the tires make a huge difference. Yes there's some slop in the links...etc...but mine tracks straight overall. 😎💪👊👊
Happy Holidays Rich!!! Wow M2c parts for my outcast 4s and my kids Granite. At long last🤗😋🤩☺🥰🤣😅🙃😉😷😷😷😷😷😷😷😷😷😷😷😷M2C for my ARRMA'S, SANTA IS REAL!!!!!!!🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓
Thanks Brother 🤗. I really have to get her out more. Forgot how FUN she is to rip around 😍. Just got the motor mount and ingenious 7075 block brace today 👀. Should completely support the mount and slipper assembly. I'm hoping Mitch will tackle the steering blocks/spindles next. 🍻😎💪👊👊
Did the axles hold up? I upgraded to Typhon axles because I kept snapping/bending the Granite axles (with Hot Racing extenders). The Typhon axles are much thicker and I have yet to damage one. There's one drawback, they are incompatible with the 3s CVD driveshaft upgrades. Popping u-joints in the stock driveshafts is one of the last remaining weaknesses on my Granite. Right now, it's a choice between snapping axles or popping u-joints. Did the bolt on the M2C Racing extensions prevent bent/snapped axles? If so, maybe I can use the CVD driveshafts again.
Yes indeed Tyrell, the axels have held up 👍. The U joints do wear out over time. These rigs have to stay somewhat light to keep their nimbleness and durability. I think it pays to keep the slipper set and stay judicious with the throttle delivery. The Typhon hexes are axels are a nice option too in my opinion. 🍻😎💪👊👊
Awesome video man! Just getting back into the RC world since my childhood. A LOT has changed since I got my Tamiya Clod Buster 32 years ago. LOL! My wife just got me a new V3 Granite for Christmas. I am loving it so far and I have a hobby shop 2 miles from home that sells them so that's cool. I have not yet found a whole lot of upgrade parts for it unless I am looking in the wrong place. I want to be able to bash it reliably for a long while. Sounds like M2C is the place to go for Granite upgrades?
Thanks so much Brother and welcome back to the hobby 🤗. I raced and bashed in the mid 80's and left the hobby for a LONG time too 🤣. These ARRMA's are friggin awesome 😍. Hot Racing and GPM out of China offer several upgrades. RPM and Tbone Racing make stronger arms and beefier bumpers. Mitch with M2C Racing has just started developing parts for the 3s line after taking the 6 and 8s line to another level 👀. He's been in the RC arena for 20+ years. His parts are as good as it gets. Our goal is to come up with functional parts that don't add crazy, unwanted weight yet increase strength and overall performance and durability 👍. Hopefully these will be available on the website soon. 🍻😎💪👊👊
@@richduperbash2966 thanks for all that info man. I liked your content so I subbed to your channel. I actually still have the old clod buster and was in the middle of getting it more bash worthy but with this new granite it may just stay on the shelf.
My original Truggified Typhon uses Kraton hexs, hubs, and stub axels. They're a direct fit adding an inch of width and allow clearance for 2.8 MT wheels 😍. If you swap to Kraton arms, links, shocks, and towers also, you end up with an Outcast/Typhon Hybrid. Both are fantastic FUN. RPM doesn't offer Typhon arms to my knowledge. I do prefer RPM for the Kraton size. 🍻😎💪👊👊
Im looking to get my first arma car soon after being into traxxas for years. My question is would you recommend the granite or bigrock? I mainly bash at a skatepark and do highspeed dirt driving. Thanks for any opinions
Great to hear your looking at ARRMA's my friend 🤗. Wise choice. I can highly recommend both rigs. The Granite is phenomenal at most all skateparks (small or huge). It turns on a dime and stunts Killer 👀. The Big Rock also does fantastic all around. It's easier to go fast with and get the power down. The wider stance on the new Big Rock makes it far more stable than before 👍. It still flips and wheelies no problem and drifts better without rolling. You're not going wrong either way. 🍻😎💪👊👊
Merry Christmas to you and your fam rich. I love my granite and love that m2c will have parts rolling out.i think i will get these for my granite i have a senton chassis on her right now do i feel like it will be a fun mix.im putting work into my senton converted brushless too so the timing is great. I love the versatility in the air with the granny i think you might be the 1st one to crack the chassis in a different spot lol😂 are your diffs stock? I think im gonna upgrade them i see arrma has a metal option. Thanks for another fantastic video man 🍻🍻🍻🍻
Thanks so much Nick 🤗. Merry Christmas 🎄. I've stuck with stock diff fluids in all my 3&4s rigs 👍. I do run my slippers quite snug though. I've put small rock holes in other chassis's before, but this time was a bit of a crack 😱🤣🤣. No biggie. I landed squarely on very sharp chunks of concrete several times and this chassis is probably 2 years old 👍. Super impressed she just kept going full Zombie mode 👀. Cheers to Mitch with M2C for pushing the game as always. 🍻🤙🤙😎💪👊👊
Hey I hope your able to get to this, I realize I need to start respecting my lipo batteries a little more, I do jumps similar to yours, I was wondering what you use to protect your batteries, what do you use for your yoga mat, I have a mt410 and et48, and if ya have any other advice on lipo safety definitely all ears
I recommend running compact single 4 or 6s hardpacks. The lighter the packs, the less likely they'll sustain damage. For padding, I'm using plain yoga mat you can buy in 6 foot rolls at Walmart...etc..in the sports/work out area. Also use self adhesive 1/4" felt padding to take up space on battery tray ends so packs don't slide and sustain hammer effect damage. Just realize the skinny Tekno chassis's flex and can put torque on the trays and Lipos. They also put the Lipos dangerously close to the diff cups 👀. That's a big plus in going with the M2C Widebody chassis. It keeps the tray much further from the center driveline. 🍻😎💪👊👊
@@richduperbash2966 you know it I have the game changer on both, makes fitment sooo much better, much appreciated man👍, what you get the chance let me know what mm size mat you use I’m looking at one about 10mm
Another great vid👍👍 I gotta ask u , I just got a proline mt and I know u did vids back in the day but I was wondering if u have any advise on the best upgrade for this ? I always wanted one and I got a great deal I couldn’t pass up .. thanks 👍👍
Congrats on the PLMT Brother 👊. Very fun and capable rig. Had some new release bugs and misgivings, but very durable as a moderate basher. Not sure what to recommend upgrade wise that I didn't already cover 🤔. Definitely need the upgraded aluminum servo saver arm. I highly recommend the Team Associated RC8T hex extenders #89330. Just drill the axel pin holes out with a 1/8" drill. Much more stable stance and zero chance you'll have the well documented rubbing issue and melted pillow ball inserts 😝. The rest is up to you. HD C-clip and/or tower brace will help the stock rear input gear stay put. Good luck and enjoy. 🍻😎💪👊👊

Those are original Proline MX28's with F11 2.8 rims. Proline now sells them on Raid 2.8 rims with removable hexs 😝. Wish they would've stuck with the originals or atleast gave basher's both options still. 🍻😎💪👊👊

I love my Granite 3S V3! Feels funny to drive right after my 6S Kraton, but it's the ultimate 1/10th scale basher for the money, in my opinion. Great videos!
Thanks so much Lee 🤗. Agree 100% Brother. It's a trip going from the 6s to the 3s in the same session especially. That's the joy of our hobby. All these rigs are so unique. 🍻😎💪👊👊
I can say with 100% confidence that the Granite is a better basher. It's lighter, far more durable, and WAY easier to wrench on and service. The magic is largely in the telescopic center driveshaft 👀. It's impossible to bend, allowing the center of the truck to absorb brutal impacts along with the bumpers, arms....etc. The PLMT has too many weak points if you like all out bashing. I found every one. 🍻😎💪👊👊
What oil should i use on my granite and on my typhon 3s with typhon 6s shocks on it. I think I have ask before but i dont remember. 😊 So sorry if i spam.
I would start around 35 weight and consider lighter buggy springs if things seem to stiff and bouncy. Tekno eb48.4 springs are great for this platform. 🍻😎💪👊👊
