You may have liked the Mojave v2? Extremely durable basher, but with little to no in-air-control. I did end up basically rebuilding the entire truck with every aftermarket aluminum and carbon fiber part available🙄. Probably didn't need too though🤣 -just that weak chassis, shock towers/standoffs, diff cases, hinge pin mounts and hex hubs😂

You can shim the servo saver but its quite the process

It is the most flexible machine out there as it will do almost any kind of bashing very well. Very playful

What are the common things that break?

@@RCReviewChannel I've ran about 15 4s and about 25 6s batteries. I have fun but I don't bash it like some others do. That being said... I've wedged this under a car at about 40 mph and it took everything I had to get it unstuck. Came out fine. It's a very tough truck. I have broken my upper front suspension mount and I snapped the screws on my stock front bumper and snapped a pin on the left lower suspension arm causing me to lose my lower front suspension mount. That is all that I have broke. My upgrades are the integy chassis braces, hot racing servo mount, hot racing knuckles and the front rpm bumper wich is extremely durable as well. I broke the pin in my lower front suspension arm yesterday doing 65 mph wheelies at the beach. She started wobbling and I put her down and it landed right on that tire. Pure driver error. 👌 and the rtr no longer comes w that crappy radio. In the v5 it's the slt 3, not the 2.

@@Rckid28 maybe it's the way it sounds on camera or perhaps the plastic chassis on the xmaxx absorbs some of the noise. But my gears sound like all my friend's mod 1 gears no matter what they are in. There's also a chance of them just being horizon hobbies quality. Because it sucks in my experience. I own a kraton EXB and I don't know how people brag about how tough they are.

The way it flies through the air and takes on any landing is crazy

Same here. Good to have a diversion to mix it up. Key is having access to space and interesting terrain since these want a lot of that.

The version we tested is actually the EXB. Using Hobbywing electronics and it is a beast.

@@RCReviewChannel Yeah, but its like a improved v4 kraton (you can see it at the chassis form) but now is the v5 out... shoud i wat until the new "improved" exb comes out (that use the v5 base parts)

xmaxx is good too. But really doesn't fly like the kraton

@@RCReviewChannel I can’t decide ha. I want scale look. Trail truck type “basher”. Kaiju, Outcast 4s, Losi LMT, Wendigo….. tell me what to do! Ha. I’ve always had crawlers and smaller buggies/truggies in the past.
