Arrma Typhon 3s Punch Setting Test!

just picked up a new typhon 6s v5. ran it this past weekend. was fun. on 6s, love the extra power to catch up on the straightaways...

I’m in New England, so it’s real snowy out right now, but i am having a blast with it when I can, and am trying to build it up too. So the info on the programming card will help, ty 👍🏻

Nice vid man! I just bought a typhon 3s v3 last week. Just to make sure the punch setting is on variable 2? Then you set it at 5 to get that front end to do wheelies ? Thx

I have mine set to punch 5 with a 20t pinion. I run laps on it all day just fine. Doesn't overheat and acceleration is still manageable.

Thanks buddy. You tha Man. That level 5 is nuts lol. Hey I also installed the radiolink rc4gs with gyro on the typhon. And bruh with the gyro on it is a monster at keeping the throttle pinned. You can turn (kinda wide turns) full speed. Transmitter seems good to so far. Jst 2s lipo fits and works (fuckAAbatteries). I'll keep you posted after this weekend bash I got coming. Hopefully I don't break both typhons lol

I recently got the Granite and wanted to compare it to my Redcat Landslide XTE before changing the esc settings. Punch 3 feels weak and delayed to me. I also think that default braking is too weak so I ordered a programing card as I sure as hell don't want to listen and watch the flashes and beeps. Thanks for the video!

Hey brother I love the typhon too she's a blast but I'm turning her into a street project, new electronics waiting for a aluminum shafts to be available will need it for the 5700kv motor/ esc combo going in it slapped hoons on it and new post for a notorious body, wish I could post a pic here it's going to be fucking epic. Oh maybe goto a 20T pinion and hot racing diffs from my granite in my mind it will be a beast, let's fucking hope it is

Why did you that test? Haven't the gears been holding on the motor torque?

Does it kill the slipper clutch and gears that way? I just turned mine up and am slightly worried about the gears, so I also turned the brake setting all the way down to help a little when racing around with my senton.

Ok. Sorry if this is a stupid question. But you have 3s in the title. So this is the 3s version. The program card on the back has the correct table. I believe it is table 2 if you don’t have your book handy

I had bad servo and hit reset button few times. Now when I hit reverse even a little it guns in reverse. If I turn remote off car starts reversing automatically. I did esc reset. I’m stuck. Any ideas?

Oh hey buddy, when you were installing the new dumborc in the 124019, I noticed you didn't set throttle or steering end parameters, or whatever the heck it's called. ALLEGEDLY, from what I've read, it could potentially squeeze out a few mph's by doing this. I just remembered about that and thought I'd say something. And if I'm wrong or misinformed, please do me a favor, call me an idiot and explain it to me correctly please and thank you.

Typhon 3s not sure what setting I was doing 180 turn arounds in the grass left and right pinned not sure what punch setting but at .75•/• percent

You can change it from the factory ESC.

Just learned from you dam program card works on arrma esc!!! Finally got to make my own cap pack so I can put 6s arrma ecs in my outcast 4s. What a pain in the ass to set my mx3. Felt like a idiot and jackass. Between programming esc via on/off switch and stupid mx3🥴🥴🥴😖😣🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 Got it!!! Really dam card works on arrma esc go by your manual esc settings!!! 😩I'M A JACK ASS!!😫 Thanks for the stupid felling!!! Saw your new vid.
