Those side winds gusting make for challenging speed runs😳 I bet that noise on the first pass was the wing ripping half way and you just didn't notice. And the 103 run ripped it all the way. Another good video!!!

Decent runs Earl. Run it without the wing, leave the side uprights n see what speeds you get with less drag. could be interesting 🤔 I believe it'll be stable enough, the body provides plenty of down force. Do power steps start @ 75% 2nd run 85% if it does well then adjust accordingly to 100% run w/o wing. I'm sure you'll achieve 110+ mph God speed & peace out .

Great runs as always. We know you were pushing for me but this was so great. Thanks for talking about the safety component. I had my Infraction ESC fry last week. Luckily I was in a parking lot but I’m going to be carrying a fire extinguisher from now on. These little power plants can cause some scary fires.

I just got the same results! Literally attempted to run on 5s today and I'm literally literally in the same boat as you! Grr. We got this though. You'll find a way! I thought it was transmission related honestly. But car drove fine as if nothing is broken.

Three successful test runs on your way to 120mph. Ever considered increasing the size of the front fender holes to allow the tires to expand and at the same time keep the front end down as low as possible? Keeping a fire extinguisher in your vehicle is a big plus for so many reason.

I'm getting there. I pulled 101 yesterday. I put the hot racing spool on it with a 34/32. I also put the spectrum 150amp 2050kv combo in it too. I'm trying to find a better road cause I ran outta real estate.

It would be a risk but it would be a good test to remove the wing assembly and add the rear black diffuser back. Definitely will go faster. Great videos

Tires are definitely a problem. Arrma has the 85mm belted hoons coming out. Also think that single plate slipper doesn't like to hold power. The 3s chassis is actually easy to get into triple digits once you get the formula down

Hi man,I have weak brakes since I changed the electronics.why?(2050 kv,150 amp esc spectrum).

So i put armmas 6s setup in my vendetta. On 3s im only getting 50s on 4s still 50s. Everything is stock but 6s motor and esc. What am i doing wrong. The thing should fly. ???? Help!!!!

What’s the wing material? Lexan? I’m surprised it failed. It must have been oscillating and fatigued at the bend. Good thing to be aware of gong in! Now Arrma def needs that Earl Moorhead tuned edition, complete with reinforced aero components 😉

WOW 👍🏻 You catched us all with the (rtr) vendetta speed fever 🤒 I cannot tell how excited I am waiting for the next episode of this story 🔥 so if you asked for a unexpected breakage I thought about anything in the drivetrain but the wing🧐 no- one of the last things I would have expected! It’s a mess you can not pull any data from the esc to get an idea of what goes on in the power system 🤷🏻‍♂️ On my last call on the 111 I thought by stopping the tires rubbing on the body it will gain some miles ☝🏻 But now I think the system-especially that motor- is at the limit. May the next bigger can size would change the game 🚀 if it would be on me figuring out I‘d try to gear down two teeth to see if it’s still going 104. Actually the motor should spin to 60/65k rpm so there’s some more in it at 6s⚡️ Like I already said I‘m really excited to see what you’re doing !! Really good work Earl 🤘🏻

The reason I said wheel come off, is if the Vendetta has the same platform as the other 3s lineup, the hidden screw inside the shaft that will work its way loose and the wheel takes off. Find the wheel and wonder how in the heck everything is still together and where did it come apart from. Inside the shaft that goes to each wheel is a 2mm hex head screw. Good thing is it can't come out of the shaft. J feel like everytime now I need to take the shafts apart to tighten the screw as I don't want to be chasing wheels. Lol. And cant threadlock it. And its usually just on the right side since you righten tighten but the wheels spin the screw out a little over time because the wheel is turning the opposite direction than it was tightened. The left side of course turns the same direction as the way it was tightened so haven't had one take off on that side. I usually make sure everything is tight before a run, but that was a new one to me. Now I feel like I need to take the drive shaft to each wheel off to make sure they're tight before I run it. This typhon from day 1, 2nd time I drove it the servo pentameter whent out, after 2-1/2 month of backorder finally warranted out, then the 4th run the motor seized, another 2-1/2 - 3mnth backorder wait again and was taking so long the horizon hobby guy felt bad since other than 2 runs, has been sitting for half the warranty and sent me an arrma 3s instead of the spektrum since it was still gonna be awhile for the spektrum electronics (may tell you something about them) and now ESC went out and right now you cant get ahold of Horizon. I bought a new servo due to the second one going out aswell, and no it was not because I didnt set the steering endpoints. I think that my typhon had a bad QC check trying to see if they will send me the Arrma esc and not another Spektrum. And when the servo whent out the 2nd time I was rounding a corner during speed run and it aimed me at a storm drain and all I could do was hit the break and it threw me into said storm drain and it stuck half in half out and cracked my chassis. I like the Typhon 3s but the spektrum electronics just haven't been good to me. My notorious 6s v4 last model with aarma electronics and not one warranted part needed. Someone I know has the Kraton 6s v5 and already had the motor and esc replaced. Plus transmitter as you could tap it and it would turn off, tap again come back on. Lol. So in essence I have a over $300 paperweight.

Those Hoons elevens suck. Get the dboot silvers and adjust the camber to 90degrees and you should pick up a few MPH out of them and they will last too, mine were cambered in for a few sets and just destroying all of them, straightened them out and im still lasting on same set and my car is going faster. Running mega infraction with all vendetta 3s 3900kv internals 50t/26t and hitting 73mph, also made a 3mm abs bottoms for the car with a splitter to keep air out.

Now wait.....is this 6s on STOCK electronics? Or did you drip 1/8 scale electronics in it? The "over volt" comment has me slightly confused lol.

Has anybody told you to screw the shocks all the way down to make them stiffer so the car won’t bottom out and that way your body won’t rub as bad either

I think the weak point is to go to much voltage, and remember the only thing in parts are from arrma, the metal parts for now don't exist, that the first weak point, the vendetta is a good platform they exist much better
