In the late 80s my oldest sister took Journalism at UT Austin, TX. In the 2020 election she asked me who I was voting for, and I told her Trump. It was the first time for me ever to stand up to vote (I'm 48 now, and I've never liked any of the choices before, including Trump who in 2016 I thought of as "trailer trash with cash". She then told me she was voting for Biden and that Trump was racist. I asked her what she ever saw or heard that made her think Trump was racist and she brought up the North Carolina 'good people on both sides' spiel. When I told her the press lied about that and could show her the 10 minute video to prove it, she adamantly refused to go back to watch it saying she didn't need to, she already had. I recited Trump's exact words of condemning the white supremacists and she said that wasn't what he said. By the end of the conversation, she had agreed to read what I put together showing her all the times Biden was racist, supported racist policy, plagiarized and said creepy, insane things, took bribes and outright was caught lying. I had about 13 pages of documented and work-cited evidence that I sent to her for her never to respond to. THAT is how Democrats are, and that's the quality of a "Journalism" student as of the late 80s. Imagine how bad it is now.

That is SO similar to the dynamics in our family. Seven siblings, but 2 won't listen to the other side. So funny how some people truly stand by what they think. @@francischambless5919I've experienced the exact same thing among neighbors and family. The common thread has been, "higher education", and the fact that they all get their, "news", on the MSNBC and CNN sites.

@@patricial-tomsic5347 what I find funny as well is my oldest brother is 9 years older, and I ask where he gets his news. He says MSN, CNN, BBC. I say, you really should get at least another alternative source just to check them on differences of coverage, opinions, seeing what isn't being covered, etc... He says, I do, I also watch NBC. I laugh and tell him, if you listen to ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSN, AP, NYT, and they are ALL SAYING THE SAME THING, that doesn't validate it because they may be all wrong or lying! He refuses to think that's even possible. I suggested a few alternatives, like Judicial Watch, Epoch Times, and Bongino Report and the first thing he does isn't listen or read in earnest what they say, but go to snopes, politifact etc and see what they have to say about the other sources. It's wild.

He comes across as someone who hates the west, but is happy to live and study there. We have millions of them in the UK where the British are now second class citizens so I suppose we are a colony.

Now To me if you came here legally and become an american citizen than youre just as important to me as an American born citizen. You paid your dues contributed and assimilated to our country and have made a positive impact. I think most Americans normal everyday Americans would agree with me for the most part. The illegals are cutting the line and its rude and further proof theyre not coming here to do what a lot of immigrants have done. Come here to stay and benefit from all america has to offer that a lot of other countries dont. Thank you for speaking up about it. There is so many of us that appreciate legal migrants speaking up about their experiences as a whole and not just one incident to which they will than claim this country is some kind of ism or phobic. If you are an American ctizen, you are a US CITIZEN.... There should be no priority on those who were born here, and those who came here legally and went through the proper channels to attain their citizenship.But thank you for your position on this matter.

@antbelicheck6339 Thank you. But i can assure you, people dont really understand how screwed the world is beyond the safety of a 1rst world country... words like freedom and rights are non existent. One doesn't even have a right to life. Those conceps only exist if inforced by a society... breaks my heart to see the turmoil in this beautiful country. Someone has taught the people selfhate and with it comes fear, confusion and instability. There is a psychological warfare fostered in this land, to create division among the people...but Americans are known to be courageous, fearless fighters ( or aggressive barbarians depending on the person speaking haha), so there is hope. Fight for your country and we will be right beside you. And yes, i will rather be second tier citizen in America than none. I lived in many continents - Its bad out there.

my thought on the matter is the beauty of a free market is if you can prove you are worth a damn it does not matter necessarily if American born people get first dibs, you will catch someone's attention. however those who can't (and i will say most American born folk, work with plenty of people who refused to work or take initiative, are in this group) better shape up quick.

Americans need to wake up and know that most of the gazillionaires are welathy because they received billion dollar loans from the Federal Reserve but they don't do it publiclly, it's done in secret.

Who won't ever become middle class. 2002 I was night manager at BK I made $6.50 hr. Now starting is more than twice that. Now I'm a tree removal specialist. I couldn't work for corporate anymore. So I started taking on my own. Which is why these libs are trying to make all money electronic. To control the money going in, out, to tax every paycheck. Tax every $ spent. To tax everything you own over and over. It's hard to tax people who sell items for cash. Especially flipping and trading. Once the dollar becomes electronic it won't be worth nothing.
