Well it’s still kinda dark as it seems like vigilante’s father is alive and his mom also, plus in the new episode he felt guilt since he made things worst, but i guess it’s more on sad than dark and gritty like arrowverse
Got the situation handled huh Rene? Your informant was captured, tortured, and killed, and one of your own and you all foolishly rush in the rescue said informant and almost get yourselves killed. Yeah, I'm gonna disagree with ya on that Rene ya don't and Dinah is foolishly lettin' her emotions cloud her judgement , that's a liability and an unnecessary one.
Technically, Vigilante being captured, tortured and killed was Felicity & Vince own fault. Felicity came up with the plan and Vince happily went along with it.
@@Carmi766 When Cayden activated their coms to trick them to think it was Vince, Oliver had his own suspicious but Dinah charged in there blind anyways, which caused the explosives to go off, killing her, and most certainly dooming Vince...despite Oliver's misgivings. Yeah, lots of blame to go around.
Gotta admit, vigilante wasn't going to have it. Oliver was going to flat-out threatened him like he does with most of his unlikely alliances but Vigilante fully states that he doesn't give a damn what Oliver thinks. They're both using each other as a means to an end plain and simple.
Pretty much how the Merlyn alliance played out for years. Both would threaten each other but neither of them ever acted on it because they needed each other.
Okan Draman Think ahead, plan ahead. Plan for every possible putcome. That sort of thing should be second nature for him if he is anythin' similar to Oliver.
That doesn't always work otherwise Oliver's mom wouldn't have died. Sometimes plans just don't work and the bad guys win and it's really no ones fault.
@@loulouwillis5648 i know it been a year but dont try and use that as your statement, slade wilson was decades ahead of oliver mentally ans physically back then oliver didnt stand a chance..im glad he got a boost from ras al ghul
Dinah proved more times than she's better, she even became her friend, she supported John,Quentin, even Roy, and did something very important for the canaries legacy.
Vigilante was the worst reveal ever😭everbody was like who is that wish it wouldve been the police captain or maybe the real Adrian chase the guy Prometheus stole the name from
@@invisiblejaguar1 Except that Oliver and Vincent(a freaking super healing Vigilante)would whipe their asses, that Oliver have faced and beat metahumans,Malcolm Merlyn,Ra's Al Ghul,Slade fucking Wilson, then defeated and eliminated all the scum it was on his city and even saves the whole Multiverse, that, speaking about Daredevil, people repeated previous seasons's mistake, uhh Fisk(the one that goes with "You accidentally look at Vanessa I wil kill you son of a bitch", or gems like "What's the time sir? When I was a boy my father smashed a clock on my neck,so...")corrupted everyone again, never see that coming...that Matt got his ass kicked even by Nobu, this random ninja guy essentially cut off Matt's entire body I wonder how a human being could have survived(even without some appropriate assistance, medical attention)in that situation and not bleed to death. In conclusion, first I don't think a better method or the best one exists,it depends om people and situations, second Matt doesn't kill,Frank does,so remember there is also a difference between those two,but at the end of the day, they didn't prove anything, didn't show it solve the problem or works better or did anything better, then, they accomplished nothing,or unquestionably not enough,at most defeating(finally)Kingpin, but that doesn't mean that was it,don't forget about Bullseye or other many problems and bad guys,.Frank, well,he killed a lot of avarege or general criminals and the ones involved on his family murder,Billy Russo included, good for him,he took down Rawlins and Pilgrim(Schulz were just pathetic),two of the most mediocre (and uncharismatic)villains ever. Now I'm serious.
@@francescoparisi126 I'm not referring to the fighting abilities and achievements of the characters, I mean the debate itself, I just prefer how Daredevil and Punisher delievered that scene.
Hussein indeed he was the only one who stand up to Oliver face he didn’t fear Oliver he didn’t care about Oliver opinion if he trust him or not and above all he knew he is gonna die and he accepted the mission ........ Vince soble is a true hero bad move from the writers to kill such an iconic character like vigilante
Yes... he should have and did just that. Vigilante, like him or not, was right. Oliver knew deep down that it would in fact take doing whatever is necessary to save the city. That is the reason he obliged and stepped aside. It had nothing to do with intimidation. See... this is what people who choose to criticize and hate on Oliver refuse to give him credit for. Even he is wise enough to know when to back down and accept that someone may be right and he may be wrong.
If Oliver knew that saving the city meant doing whatever was necessary then he would have done whatever was necessary. No holding back, no mercy to people like James, Diaz, Ra's, others. He would have done all that was necessary to destroy evil, no matter what. But he didn't and still doesn't. He allowed himself to be put in a sitiation where is secret identity was exposed to not only the FBI, but also the public too when he was forced to tell them. Being with Felicity made him weak, blind,
On the other hand, had Oliver kept killing like he did in season 1, he would have never gotten so many allies who look up to him. There would have been no Roy/Arsenal, no Black Canaries, no alliances with the Flash, etc etc... (just look at how Ragman, Wild Dog and the other reacted in S5 when they realized that Oliver was "the Hood") I'm also not sure if Diggle & Felicity would have kept on having his back if he didn't slow down on the murder stuff; he still killed some guys like Count Vertigo (s2), Ra's al Ghul (s3) & Damien Dhark (s4) while he was supposed to be on a "no-kill" diet, just to list some important villains... Oliver being a killer in season 1 is what created Prometheus in the Arrowverse. Had he kept on being a vigilante that kills most of his targets, he would have also made himself weak and blind in a different way (no Diggle to have his back, and no Felicity to be his eyes). Oliver was willing to do anything in season 1, and he still got roflstomped by the Dark Archer twice, and a big chunk of the Glades still got blown up by the device Merlyn forced Brion Markov (aka _Geo-Force_ in the comics) to build for him. [which reminds me how much of a waste is was to have _Geo-Force_ shows up in only one episode, and get killed in the very same ep after accomplishing his part; oh well, at least he showed up in *Black Lightning* season 3] Look at Punisher [for Marvel], or Vigilante [for DC] (Adrian Chase & his successor, Dorian Chase); they don't have a lot of allies, and the other heroes are targeting them as well.
@@maxgetuba7577 The Bat's no different. Spoiled rich playboy. Lost his parents sure, still had a shit ton of money, big mansion, a butler even. He holds back too. Punisher way is only way to go.
@@vteccomplex No sir, just truth. If I was in that world I wouldn't identify with neither hero nor villain. I would just do what is necessary. I'd be ok with the League though.
