Everyone wonders when is the appropriate time to shoot does? Our stance is simple, it's when they are in bow range. This rut hunt turned into a doe harvesting opportunity shortly after sunrise as several deer worked within range. A well placed short resulted in a doe down and success morning as a midwestern bowhunter. This was a fantastic day in the whitetail woods.
