So we got a pretty massive new title reveal from Arrow Video here in the UK today!
They officially dropped the initial details of their upcoming Bruce Lee 4K Boxset
Titled 'Bruce Lee at Golden Harvest' and featuring all of Bruce's HK movies along
with a truly massive stack of extras.

I’m glad they managed to get it ETD on the set too, would have loved if they would have worked their magic on it too but I understand why that wasn’t possible. All in all it looks like an amazing set. Cheers for watching!!

Hi Dragon very excited to see this box set to be honest I wasn't digging the criterion art work on box set but videos are great I really like actual bruce Lee pictures on box set and dvd covers this looks very colorful and can't wait to see all the goodies that come with it thanks for being so informative when it comes to bruce Lee

Ahhh, the Green Hornet series. I’d love to see it getting a boxset similar to the one made for the 60’s Adam West Batman series but sadly the rights for that show are a total mess. I think the Tv show rights were still held by ABC right up to ABC being bought by Disney. I don’t think the Green Hornet Inc who own the movie rights now ever managed to get back the Tv show rights from the dreaded House of Mouse. But it’s a complicated mess at the best of times

Exciting times -- I was kinda confused on the difference between the 'limited' set -- is that just the booklet, postcards and stuff? I'm mostly concerned with the discs themselves and not so much extra things so I suppose I would be willing to wait for a sale..... tho we'll see what the FOMO has for me as things get closer!

I cover all of this in the video mate, the Arrow exclusive set is just different cover art, the contents are identical to the other 4K and Bluray set. It just comes in a yellow box instead of a red one.

This does look like an amazing set, & one that I will break the bank for. This is a hold my beer moments for Arrow when Shout Factory announced their Shaw Brothers sets. I’m surprised that they’re including the blu rays with the UHD sets. I thought they would be UHD only & maybe have 2 blu rays full of extras. I suppose we could Frankenstein the box set & replace the blu ray of Enter the Dragon with the up & coming 4K from Warner, then maybe replace the blu ray editions in the UHD set with the HKL DVDs just incase the extras are different such as the Bey Logan commentaries.

I quite liked the old HKL 30th anniversary dvd boxset packaging and the book that came with it. I maybe will t be Frankenstein-img this time around, they can just sit side by side :)

@@TheFanaticalDragon For its time it’s very stylish & a sturdy well made box compared to other sets that were flimsy & got easily damaged. I still have my HKL Bruce Lee box set & it’s still my favourite out of the many DVD box sets I still own.

I'm definitely excited for this but it seems pretty expensive for what we're getting. Not sure if I can quite justify it to myself. Maybe see if it goes down a decent amount then get it...

The only thing that annoys me is that the yellow Arrow exclusive boxset is 4K only. Its definitely the version I'd go for as I just love the organised nature of the art compared to the orange box, but I don't have a 4k player. As usual, Arrow releases multiple versions but you always miss out on something depending on which version you go for.

DiabolikDVD will probably be your best ( and cheapest ) option for importing it. Shipping to and from the US-U.K. is still brutal just now. Getting Shout’s Brave Archer set over to the U.K. cost me an insane amount.

The 4K discs will be fine, but half the discs in the 4K/UHD set are standard Blurays, so you would miss out on most of the extras, Enter The Dragon and whatever else is on the Bluray side of the boxset.

Coming out July 17th Bruce Lee 4k collection can't wait, just had message from Zavvi they bringing Bruce Lee 4k collection from Arrow Video box set, but they will be Enter The Dragon also, it will be blu ray not 4k.

Yep, i included it all my video mate, there are 2 x 4K UHD/ Bluray boxsets ( just with different artwork on the cover ) and one entirely Bluray set, all of the have enter the dragon on Bluray included.

I already did, in the video. One set is a mix of 4K UHD and Blu-ray Discs and the other set is just Blurays.

4K discs are not region locked no, but the 4K boxset has a bunch of regular Blurays in it too, and they are all region B locked. The set is ‘officially’ only being sold in the U.K. By that I mean Arrow’s US store won’t carry it. But I’m sure Diabolik and the other US based retailers who routinely import U.K. releases will no doubt also bring this over stateside. But you’ll need a multi region player to access the Bluray component of the 4K set, not entirely sure of how that breaks down in terms of exact disc numbers yet, but my guess is about half of the set will be on regular blurays and half on 4K UHD.

Erm, cheers I think.., I busted a gut and worked through the night to make this, just for seemingly nobody to actually watch or listen to it. I covered this at some length in the video 😤 no, enter the dragon is not in 4K it’s the old Warner brothers 40th anniversary Bluray from 2013 included as more of a bonus extra than a new feature.

Nothing new from master Dan Inosanto, eh?The man is a living legend and was close to Lee for many years and they are wasting the opportunity once again, you know? He is not getting any younger...And they should just get rid of this "Game of Death" abominations - it had NOTHING to do with Bruce Lee's intend...Still, this looks far more superior to Criterion's "His Greatest Hits" and i will be cautiously optimistic.Cheers.

They can’t I’m afraid, criterion hold the US rights to all Bruce’s Golden Harvest movies for as long as their boxset remains in print. But although Arrow’s US store can’t sell it directly, other US based retailers are technically free to import the sets from the U.K.

@@TheFanaticalDragon What are the odds now of Criterion announcing a 4K re-release of their Bruce set in the coming months? It's a shame Warners won't allow Arrow to present 'Enter The Dragon' in 4K on this set, as you can bet that Arrow would have treated that film to a better group of extras than Warners will eventually do. And yes Warners, you can take that as a challenge to pull your finger out on it! Even though I already have the Criterion blu-ray set I'll still be snapping this up. Hell, I'd buy it for the Tony Rayns feature alone.

That depends on you….If you have a multi region Bluray player, yes you can, if you don’t, you cannot. the Blu-ray Disc side anyway. The 4K discs will play in any 4K disc player.

I do have the Criterion version yes, Criterion is 2k. The new Arrow set will be all new 4K restorations with a substantial amount of previously unreleased footage added to The Big Boss and Game of Death. I will get the Arrow 4K UHD boxset but please remember that even in the 4K UHD set, half the discs are regular Region B blurays, mostly housing the extra features, of which there is a very large amount.
