Arrowhead & Snakehead Fishing Tips: The Tide, Lures, and Evening Fishing on the Chesapeake 

I’ve had my best luck sight fishing them with topwater too, but I’d also try some weightless or lightly weighted, weedless swimbaits. They’ve also done well for me.

I have to try smoking my next one. Just got a grill with smoker. Did ribs with it but not snakehead. Not yet 😏

It was very interesting to me this year because I began seeing them pairing up and hearing reports of the pairing in the beginning and middle of May. However, right now I’m still seeing some very good pre-spawn bites in a few different locations. All that being said, most of my ride on the struggle bus was because I put myself there with some very poor decisions and very bad hookset mechanics 😂

Thanks brother. I only included a fraction of my idiocy from this day in the video lol. Arrowhead is one of those structures I love and hate, and it all comes down to the state of the tide.
