Thank you for all your videos guys. after 16 year and watching all your videos I’ve come back to the hobby only had one flight with some help lol I’m hooked again and a lot of that is down to you guys thank you. I’m 66 feeling like 26 again 👍
Great Video and aircraft guys , I have a ft tiny trainer that I built and took to the park crashed it twice had to get out of tree next day because the park closed. Then I ended up with chiggers. Gave up for a little while needless to say. Got a Mini Aeroscout for my Birthday went to another park crashed it many times then I made about twenty laps and brought it right down in front of me, All the momma's and older couples heard me screaming and dancing a big jig , and I wasn't itching !!!!! lmao Thanks alot for all the encouragement guys!!!
Nice!!! LOL ;) I was just at a plant yesterday that makes "crab shampoo" and "Lice-ALL" which is how you get rid of lice - YUMMY! Maybe if you get chiggers again, you could try this??? LOL
Alright...... "Brian aka Johnny Quest !!! " Hadji got stuck in the Tree limbs with his flying carpet in the Eagle Killing Zone. Quick Johnny take the Viper and save him. Bandit ! Bandit ! come on boy ...get in
The Arrows 50mm are such good Toys, but what's with the no Ruddererers? Eachine can make the Micro 600mm Warbirds with the Cute Widdle Waggly Tails. Toothpick Idea is brilliant, finking I can also mount Rx and Gyros with different applications on this idea of Yours! Beauty BP, Mrs P, unreal show.
What a awesome whittle jet!! Big Fan of your awesome videos! Great job as always 🙂🙂🙂 This is my new RC channel I started! Joshua Miller from Tennessee 🤙
That's a great plane! I am just amazed it never broke out of some of those tight turns! Full marks camera crew, most people don't quite realize how difficult your job is. What camera are you using?
Thanks! As for the camera, it's a Galaxy S21 Ultra. You're right, Megan is very good at filming, and this channel seems such an easy thing, but it's been tried by many, and only a few have been lucky enough to find some decent traction. We were blessed with a viral video, and this helped us greatly, in reaching a larger audience. We worked our tails off before and after that happened to try to capitalize on the opportunity of this channel. What people especially don't get, is how hard it is to work with so many different companies, and they're almost all very competitive with each other...so we have to be careful how we handle this...but if we don't covered Horizon Hobby, for example, we might be very happy, but we'd be doing a huge dis-service to you all in our audience! We love doing this, and honestly, want to do sooo much more, but my demanding day job is what's standing between what you have now, and what BrianPhillipsRC should be... We have been working so hard to get in a place where we can do this "full time" but it's tough with over $1mil invested in property to make this happen, and countless thousands of hours getting from nowhere to here. It is a labor of love, but if we can get the channel fully funded, we'll be off to the races ;) More and Much Better content. More companies. More builds, mods, projects. More RC. More ground vehicles, and water vehicles, and more Full scale....you name it, we have huge plans, but there's only so much you can do on "left-overs" from the day job :(.... Wish us luck!
@@BrianPhillipsRC Thanks for taking the time to give such an in depth reply, having just started out - and with no plans whatsoever to get big - I am beginning to realize how hard you guys must work and am utterly astounded that you still find the time to hold down a day job. I really hope you can eventually make RU-vid your full time job, you guys both certainly deserve it!
Love the videos man. Got the nx8 now when I get my prosteses back in a couple weeks I can finally get out and get into flying. Been flying the blade s3 inside which is fun. It takes alote of practice in stunt 2. Cheap to learn on. But I can't wait to try plans again. Tryed years ago and was a one and done lol.
It sucks man but at least it's Winter while I'm healing. Looking forward to watching your adventures into ppg . I love anything rc looking forward to try planes.
Same setup as the AR631, and super close to the AR637T...we do it all the time in Plug and Play planes, so just check around and skip to the Radio Setup and you'll have about 10 planes in the last year or so to use as examples. Find the best one that meets your needs, and watch it through. Just find the playlists, and you can go to the "Unbox, Build, Radio Setup, and Maiden Flight Videos" and skip to the part where we start going over radio installation, usually toward the end of the video. Off the top of my head, here's a few, but loads more if you start poking around... Arrows Viper 50mm Hangar 9 P-47 Hangar 9 Ultra Stick Eachine F18 50mm
@@BrianPhillipsRC Thanks Brian, I did find where you set up the 630 in your build video on the HZ Viper 50. Flew my Viper today on 4S for the first time...Wow it's power to weight ratio is great. I can understand why you didn't want to crash yours. Several of the guys at the field now want the mini Viper.
Hey Brain, I’m still new to the hobby, but is it weird that I can not fly with full safe? Every plane I have with full safe just puts me in places that I can’t get out of with safe.
@@jakeclauson9863 I'm thinking of doin it, another servo would fit perfect next to the Elevator, bit of plumbing an a rod,,, done Mate! Had a gutful of some Planes that decide when, " They," wanna turn for another super long and wide pass. Unreal Jake, You and I both Mate.
@Jono Edwards yea I noticed that blank spot next to the elevator servo, perfect spot like you said. As long the vertical stabilizer is thick enough to take a couple hinges, seems like it would be pretty easy to do. Do you have one? Would be interested to know how thick the stab is. I think I'm going to pull the trigger and get one...
I have my 3S 2200mAh 40C Turnigy (189 grams/6.66 oz) in the same spot. I've put sticky velcro on and under the pack to hold it in place. Also a thin strip of non-sticky velcro around it and glued to the fuselage just for extra strength. How much weight is that Spectrum 4S 2200mAh pack?
Brian I've watched your reviews for years they have always been fun and informative. I'd like you to view Bruce from New Zealand you tube "xjet" he has a new camera and it is great, a big step up. I don't want this to sound like" you should comment " but "you should" Thanks for great work. Could you pick one plane you could't live without? ha
I love Bruce - Great Advocate for us, and GREAT Content, but he is full time doing this, and quite a bit larger audience, and presumably more income from the lot of his channels and media outlets, so we'll get there ;)
@@BrianPhillipsRC Brian I felt no disrespect toward you and your channel. I have spent hours watching you and Camera Person and love it. My favorite days are when you and Bruce both post a video. Live long and prosper
Man that is so cool. I really want to copy this build for my first EDC Im in Australia and you cnq 9nly buy this plane here as PNP Would appreciate if you could reply back with exactly what Radio gear RX and TX combo you are using and also which servo unit and battery pack.. Mich appreciated love your work mate.. looks like such a killer combo. cheers Brian
Keep in mind, the 10Channel Tx is not necessary for THIS plane, but will be good for later planes, with more capabilities. If you know it's ONLY gonna be this plane, the NX6 is cheaper, but you will run into limitations pretty quick, so we don't encourage people jumping in at this level, since it'll only facilitate maybe one year of planes. bprc.me/NX6
Brian thanks so much for the reply. I already have a DX6e I use for my Blade 400 I was thinking of using that asy TX and will buy a AR630 to with it.. Later on when I step out of this i go with a complete new TX for what ever I step up to.
Brian, I have an Arrows Viper and love it. I added rudder and Flaperons as well. But I have not flown it on 4S. Did you change out the ESC? If so, what size?
Probably the F-15, since it's BNF, but this Viper is sweet too. Also, the F-15 had wheels too, but you can take them off, so it's kind of a unfair comparison ;)
So far, so good! Wish I had a physically smaller 4S that I could plop in there, but this was the best I could do... I'd really like a 1300mAh 4S 100C pack for these strange size planes!
Ohhh Butt Brian, Today Is The Launch Day For The New Durafly Excalibur V2 1600mm Hot Liner... Did You Not Get The Memo? 🤔🤣😎 PS You Also Need To Put The GoGo-Birds Into Your Description Planes+ List!? 🤗
You mean, Hobbyking ??? LOL ;) Didn't know they were still in business - LOL - JK, but yes, I saw that and would like to review one, but they don't have a decent deal for us...so I'm not interested in talking people into buying Hobbyking planes, only to have to hear all the bad stories about DOA and issues - LOL ;)
@@BrianPhillipsRC Not sticking up for anyone, but My Horizon experience leaves a lot, reversed Gyros, failed piss poor servos, talking big money for sheeeee that shouldn't be Spectacular letdowns. Pretty sure They send the reject stuff to the third world an double the price??
Finally had the privilege to enjoy this magnificent bundle of fun. I would never ever recommend the Eflite F-15 in comparison to the Arrows 50mm lineup. The Viper and the Bae-Hawk were absolutely the best fun one could have with a 4s 2200mAh. Take note Horizon and Motion, this is how you build a small edf
I love this one! BUT, there aren't gear on it...even though I'd prefer to fly them like this, wheels up, wheels down is another fun function of flying ;)
Hands down the best 50mm I have ever flown. Without a doubt it can fly slow or fast with very little to no stall characteristics. I have flown all the other Arrows, Xfly and china brands that just cannot compete with the Viper 50mm on 4s.
Was going for the Habu, but for the difference in price and videos I’ve seen, have about decided on this as my first EDF. I’d be a bit concerned about that esc on 4s though, is it hot when you land?
