He also forgets that 90% of club money goes out to players wages , agents and subsidiaries. That’s money that isn’t recycled back into football like transfer fees Higher wages = more games / revenue needed. Less games = less wages PFA won’t do that so that’s why more games is needed clubs aren’t even that rich , rich because the asset but really the top clubs barely scrape even
Your forgetting most clubs your on about have none or very few international players and play in a less demanding league and don't get half as far in competitions and they don't have mad schedules like the premier league clubs do having to cater for European competitions etc..
Moronic response from Mark on the FA Cup, how can anyone outside the FA think this is a good idea. Even supporters of the 'big clubs' must see this is clearly unfair to the rest of the teams in the pyramid. Too many games, tough, you have squad depth, maybe not take your team half way round the world in pre season, or how about playing a full strength squad in the early rounds and try and win the game rather than taking a chance with your kids or pull out of the competition altogether.

If replays are being ditched for the FA Cup, the FA needs to find a way of filtering some of the riches down the leagues to level things up a little. That would be more fair.

I’m giving Arteta 2 more seasons and a 3rd if I can see good things but we’re going in the right direction and he’s brought my club back to a level where we’re competing. Sacking him only ruins all of that work and is regressive.

The only thing we've bottled this year is the first leg vs Bayern. Losing to Villa and maybe not winning the league when we have a tougher schedule than Liverpool and City is not bottling it.

Difference is Liverpool and United didn’t buy the league. City have spent hundreds of millions, hired the best manager in the world. And have benefited from their being no financial fair play rules.

Klopp team lost the title with 1 point to city not due to lack of effort but due to corrupt referees. Everton was not given a penalty Vs city with 5 games to go.
