Thanks to a viewer, I reached out to Blick about the masking fluid and they confirmed it’s not supposed to be like that and offered to refund/replace

The masking fluid on camera, it looks like the bottle not the product is discolored.

@@jjsmakeupobsession323 not sure, tbh. I wasn’t clear on whether it was just green at the bottom or what the issue was. I described it to blick and they said it wasn’t normal or how it should be, and refunded me

That's a good birthday! Most of those metal tins can fit a third row of pans even with the tray still in it.

I have a really old bottle of Windsor Newton making fluid, and it’s still all white. I don’t know… I have never seen masking fluid look like that. 😺 You purchased a lot of great stuff. I have red violet, payne’s grey & naphthol pink in the Golden SoFlat paint and I Love them!! Those fluorescent paints might be great to use on the gelli plate. Yes! I’d like to see a review of the Tumuarta sketchbook. I loved this video. 👽Thanks.

Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed it! And thank you for letting me know about the masking fluid. I think I’ll contact blick and see what they say about it. And I’ve been wanting to try a gelli plate for a while! That might be the excuse to finally get one lol

Wow, that was an amazing haul. So many wonderful supplies. I'd love to see some of your favorite art books. Ive been on a book buying binge (there are worse things right?) I buy most of mine used on ebay too. I'm always looking for more artists to inspire me and so many artists have lived interesting lives, it's enjoyable to learn a bit about them.

Thank you, it was so fun shopping for them all!! But you honestly do not need all this stuff! I just did a sketchbook flip through in my latest video where most of the sketchbook all I used was one of the ballpoint pens from this haul. So honestly, you just need some paper and a pen or pencil and you’re good to go!! Art supplies are so fun but you also can make art without basically all of them 😂

Thank you🥰 so mutch. I only use himi miya gouache set 56 colours, the acrylic gouache 12 set from liquitex, a black drawing pencil set from alliexpress,kneedable ereasers from a toystore in my town,canson xl water colour sketchbooks. I order 3 so i have enough,a mechanical pencil and 0,7 leads for in my mechanical pencil and a masterson stay wet pallet and my fixative spray for sealing my gouache paintings. My watercolour brushes from alliexpress, my cheap canvas boards from my local hardware store so thats 11 items instead of 3😅🤣👍🏾✌🏾👋🏾🫶🏾 man i keep adding to my list🤣🤣🤣🤣😅😅😅😅😅oeps i realy need to count my art items🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 i add more and more😂😂😊😊

@@lifeismusicparnadonkers art supplies are so much fun! But it’s also nice to know that you can always create art, even when you don’t have any of them with you. Buying more art stuff gives you more options but you can do just as well without them all. That’s one of the best things about art - there are so many choices and ways of doing it that there’s never a right or wrong way! Just your way :)

@@ElaTell i don,t know witch sketchbooks i should choose😭 i tested the same paints my himi miya gouache and my acrylic gouache paints from liquitex on mixed media paper. Turns out the both paints dry faster and are more beautifull on the canson aquarel sketchbooks then on the mixed media sketchbooks and the aquarel sketchbooks from canson are cheaper than the mixed media sketchbooks. So i think i would have more benefit from the canson aquarel sketchbooks than the mixed media sketchbooks. 👍🏾✌🏾🎨👋🏾😁

If you want to try an even more matte pencil try the Faber-Castell Pitt graphite matt. They go up to 14B I think.

Can you help me please. Do you know whats better for gouache and acrylic gouache. A mixed media sketchbook or a aquarel sketchbook 🤔 a watercolour sketchbook is cheaper but....i am still doubting between the 2 cause i paint whit jelly gouache and whit acrylic gouache. Please let me know 😊i love you,re art haul

The main difference will be how smooth you want the paper. Watercolor paper will probably have texture and mixed media paper will be smooth, so might make for a better experience if you want fine details. Either one will work great though and for gouache, you don’t need the best quality, most expensive paper. For watercolors you do but for gouache you don’t. Another option is to try hot press watercolor paper if you can find that cheap. That will be pretty similar to mixed media paper with nice smooth texture

Hello @@ElaTelli think like the mixed media a4 and a3 better. It holds more water than the canson aquarel sketchbooks a4 and a3 and it doesnt buckle that mutch. The gouache flows on the mixed media paper better than on the aquarel paper from canson but i think thats what you prefer to work on and what results you,re looking for. The canson aquarel sketchbooks buckle wen you spill or put watered down paint on them. I also wanna try the toned tan,gray tan and toned blue mixed media sketchbooks from strathmore whit gouache and acrylic gouache. 👋🏾😁🎨 have a nice day and happy painting to you 🎨😁👋🏾✌🏾👍🏾

Don't your pencils all come in a case? Why do you move them from one case to another? Why is it more convenient to flip the pencils rather than lift a pencil tray?

Because some sets are pretty large and it takes several sleeves of the case to organize them. If they were in a pencil case, that would be multiple trays that would all need space to lay out
