May this part of your Artistical Being spread it's wings and soar on very high (and bugger the bureaucratic mish-mash. May these issues disappear soonest). Great to hear about your updated website - I shall definitely look it up and am very curious about it's content. It was good to see you use your watercolour mini-palette. Your future video ideas seem interesting! I am eager to watch them. Your notes that you display regarding the NMA classes were informative to study and read (did lots of video pausing here 😅). The new books seem like good reading - it is always good to broaden our horizons... I agree wholeheartedly regarding the necessity for a reference picture to work from - it is from the reference photo that the aspiring artist learns to use their eyes: not only to understand the composition - but also to allow their OWN style to develop regarding approaching the subject matter, colour, imagination etc... Hello, I've been following your channel for a while now and I'm so happy for you!! Good luck! You've inspired me to take my art seriously and decided to join New masters academy after watching your video (i was rather hesitant and unsure at first) I'm really glad i did but lately I've been having a sort of artistic slump and just feeling terrible about my artistic journey but watching your videos and growth gives me hope!! Thank you so much! Oooh I'm so glad I did! I hope you're enjoying the courses overall 😊 Slumps happen (often for me), but that doesn't mean you're not making progress overall. The process isn't linear at all, it often feels like going backwards and losing skills, which can be incredibly frustrating, but that's just part of growth and something to expect. Keep going! 💪

I'm fifteen so I can't go to an art school anyway (not that I'd want to becasue the art schools in the UK look crap, to me😅) and the instruction feels like I'm learning about art properly.
