Gaynor, when I saw you had removed all of the watercolour from their pans I thought,”What on earth is she up to now now?” ;) When I saw you wet the paper and use them straight up…. 🤯mind blown!!!!!!! That large canvas you show in the beginning, inspired by your "on a roll" experiments looks just wonderful! And it really is lovely to see your paintings up at the show. I think most of us here enjoy the variety of things that you have in your videos. I even really enjoyed the drive through town to get to your gallery site! I felt like I was there with you driving. I'm amazed at the things you do that are so "outside the box" - like taking the watercolour pan paint and using it to paint straight onto the paper! You help us think outside the box and be even more creative. Have a great last few days at the show! I wish I could come to see it!

How enjoyable it is to be included in your exhibition. You've made it look so effortless though I know you've put so much work into making it happen. Thinking back to the paper roll and now to this large canvas reminds me that of all the things I've learned from you, the most valuable to me is that I don't have to finish a work all at once. I can let it sit, breathe, and take my time with it instead of rushing to finish. Thank you for improving my process.

Enjoyed seeing your work. I have worn many hats in art and design over for forty years in illustration, design and fine art painting. It's been a journey. You do very energy filled work that is uplifting. In my career I was maybe too fussy and very detailed oriented. I can still do that but have found great joy in painting abstractly in recent years. I love the unpredictability in it and that idea that all could be lost on any given piece and then that pulling it together to a finished work. It takes great skill in what you do not just on a use of materials but so much in the mental decision making of when to stop or continue working at something. I have found that many of my most successful works come out of accidental things that just happen. It often baffles me. I think the trick is to have no expectations or ideas of what it will end up looking like. I did a lot of published work and had constraints or parameters in solving a problem for a client. Abstract work is a great freedom from that. Congratulations on your beautiful work.

Lovely to see you again after a 3 month USA cross country trip. I visited many art and history museums and created collaged postcards along the way with free travel publications. I am looking forward to seeing you back in the studio and also traveling with you on your art adventures.

You always give me a better mind set. I flutter between water color and acrylic. Certainly due to your inspiration I get freer and create more dynamic art-language speaking to others. They are happy and I am so happy. I have a show in a week and have lively pieces. So much work but what a rush!! what a great idea to take the watercolors out of the pan! If you enjoying that, you might want to try Daniel Smith’s Watercolor Sticks. They are a favorite of mine, and are solid watercolor in stick form. Great to see your smiling face and enthusiasm for your work every week. Congratulations on the exhibition!

Wow! My….you have been busy!!! I know just how much work goes into getting exhibitions ready, 😳 crazy amount of work. You seem to cope much better than me! I get really stressed out 🙄 Your exhibition looks Fantastic! ❤️❤️❤️ I hope you have lots of fun with it …Yay! 🤸♀️🤸♀️🤸♀️ My garden flowers are looking lovely at the moment. I have the most beautiful roses. The one in the front garden is all the colours of the sunset, big, blousy, frilly and smells Divine! I have another one that reminds me of strawberries and cream. It is a coral red on the outside and a pale blush in the inside….SO gorgeous! I tend to rescue roses from garden centres 😄 If I see one in distress I have to rescue it! 100% seem to recover and thrive.🤸♀️🤸♀️🤸♀️ I pray over them and love them and beg them to grow. Isn’t nature just Wonderful 🤩 So lovely to see you again. Thankyou again for your wonderful videos 🙏🌸🌸🌸
Nature is AMAZING ! The energy, the colour, the patterns and textures.... your roses sound wonderful, and I adore their wonderful perfume. I have been working on stress because often it rolls into anxiety. I see it coming and remind myself that it is better to process it as excitement ! It helps. Have a fantastic week XXX

My goodness exhibitions are exhausting, so many details to think about, and to produce a video for us is more work. Thank you for letting us get a lovely glimpse of all the work. A lot of your work was familiar, and lovely to see it there. Carmels work is fabulas too, would have loved to be there. Maybe one day. My daughter gave me a Kardi Sketch book its handmade paperand interesting to work on, praps check it out at Jacksons. I hope you are getting good rest between all the activities. U always express SO much more than normal 😂 with fresh, new, and encouraging ways to C and produce ideas that leads to a new detour that leads to new art...I've have been working with texile art collage and making jewelry. hope you film more fun in the adventures of your community and vaca days. Craig's workshop ideas would make a good addition to this experience 😊 maybe he can make U a stand for fiming from above the table. Have U contacted galleries and shops/offices to display your work? Businesses have wall space. Festivals and green markets will give U customers that appreciate local artists. Ann, Florida fan
Hi Gaynor, Firstly, I absolutely love all of your videos. I'm in Australia and I love Thursday's when your new video comes out. Can I ask a question? When you paint on those large pieces of card paper, like in today's video behind you in the cabin. Are they the pieces you then go on to show/sell in the galleries or do you only paint on canvas for your large art works?

Two acrylic-related questions Gaynor: what do you use to wash acrylic paint off your hands and how do you dispose of the water you wash your brushes in?
