Come along with me to do a painting with ancient techniques art course in Florence, Italy! This vlog will go through a week in my life attending art school in my 20s, with basically no painting experience.

What art course did you do?
I did a two week painting with ancient/classical techniques course, organised by The Michelangelo Institute (Italian language & culture school) which was held in the Academia d’Arte studio.
What materials did you paint with?
Tempera paint!
How much did this cost?
For full transparency, I was able to afford this experience because 1) I asked The Michelangelo Institute for a discount and they very kindly gave me 50% off without asking for anything in return, and 2) I was staying with my boyfriend who had free accommodation for the month. In total, I paid 270 euro for two weeks. I’m very lucky to have been able to go, and I think it’s worth every penny!
Would I recommend it?
YES !!! Weeks later I still think about this wonderful experience. It has inspired me to paint more in my own time, and a video about that will be coming shortly :)
