Hello! This video is a sketchbook tour of my old art school sketchbook. It's no Calarts sketchbook but this was my daily use book during my last semester as an art student. Hopefully this will give you some sketchbook ideas on how to fill up your sketchbook and some insight on what it's like going to art college.

I've been absolutely loving your videos! When I saw in one you mentioned film making all the cool little edits you use in your videos made total sense. Also, your style is fantastic! Your work in ballpoint pen/ink in general is really dynamic and alive-- I guess maybe because you don't seem to do sketches underneath so much. Anyway, love it! You deserve more subscribers and views.

Oh this is such a funky sketchbook! Impressive how you went straight in with pen, in my experience it's quite difficult without any preliminary sketches. I now feel like starting a sketchbook like this one - not for finished, polished work, but more sketches! :D

A little late to this party, but again, thank you for showing what I would consider a "normal" sketchbook. Nice to know I'm not the only one who uses a sketchbook as a 'catchall' for notes, to do lists, ideas, doodles, reference and actual sketches. :P

You have a really nice channel. Also, your thought process sketches and thumbnails are SO clean! I loved the images of the same scene from different angles - it's very freeing to focus on a single scene and redraw with slight shifts - you learn so much by just reimagining something that's already on the paper

i've seen him use hahnemuhle before, they're pretty cheap and often come in a4-a6 sizes. can't say that's what he's using here specifically, but that's what I'd hazard.
