Hello Tryone, I have the second generation Diana Stormrider, which does not yet have a factory-installed regulator. I think it is identical to the Artemis PR900. The Diana regulator sold in Germany didn't suit me, so I used the British Lane regulator, which was also more expensive. The rifle is accurate out of the box, but offers numerous options to achieve even greater comfort and precision. I complied with the 7.5 J limit in Germany for free weapons. This means you can get more good shots before having to refill the comparatively small cartridge. The built-in regulator further reduces the free cartridge volume! As you said, it is not a toy, although its relatively low weight and rather small dimensions make it very suitable for women and teenagers. But as a grown man over 1.80 m tall, I also have a lot of fun with the rifle. In my opinion it doesn't have to hide behind other rifles that are twice as expensive, especially if you take a few hours to perfect it using simple means on the "kitchen table" if you have the skill. That's why I think it's ideal as a first rifle for leisure and entry-level use, or to arouse interest in getting into competitive sports.
One of our club members had one at the range the other weekend, I really like it. You need to get your sponsor to send you a chronograph, it will add a lot of value to the channel, and they are not expensive.
@@African-Budget-Pellet-Gunner I can send you mine, but unfortunately I will need it back again 😉 You do need one long term though, it is really indispensable for a channel like yours.
You're right about it being a great budget rifle. I have the smk uk version and the only problem I've had is the hex/ Allen screw under the bolt action worked loose stopping the bolt from locking down. It was an easy fix from watching one of your previous videos on strip down of the unregulated version:-)
Had the same problem with my pr900s gen2 the bolt action locked on me couldn't open it. So sent it back to get it fixed as I had only had it less than 2 weeks. Still waiting to get it back. Before that I was really enjoying it.
I think there is very little difference between the PR900 gen2 and the M22. The PR900 gen1 wasn't regulated which I think the M22 is. I think the M22 has a heavier hammer spring and longer barrel so will produce more power. I also know of some people shooting slugs successfully from the M22 but not so much from the PR900, so I think the barrels are a little different
Yip some are interchangeable, off the top of my head, I think the only big difference is the trigger assembly but otherwise they are pretty much the same, it is almost identical to the CR600 except it is PCP instead of co2
Yes I got one due to the regulator it's great rifle, lightweight etc I absolutely love it it's my go-to rat killer sadly the rifles are prone to faults. Yes the trigger is a little bit creepy. Pellet on pellet with jsp, It would be great if you could do a video to solve that. Unless it's like the cp2 job you uploaded. I've had it back to the gunsmith twice losing air. Do you think the barrel band is a bit close to the trigger though?... by the way hi Tyrone!
If it is prone to leaks I would probably just replace the o-rings with some viton o-rings and should give better longevity. Definitely great rifles though and will be easy to work on
Brilliant thanks Tyrone let us know if you can do a trigger video on it. Hopefully it will be the same as the cp2. I only get about 25 shots at 10 ft lb @African-Budget-Pellet-Gunner
As luck would have it. Received my one about 5 days ago. All I can say is wow, and then another wow. My one may be USA spec as it it doing 850 FPS with JSB Exact Jumbo Express pellets and 30.5 Joules according to my FX pocket Radar. In the regulator window the fps spread is an incredible 3fps spread. Out the box. As you say, this is not a toy. It will go right thru a duiker if you don't hit a bone and are stupid enough to to do that. It will do the same to a human at under 50m. Beware. The down side of the incredible power is the useable shot count. (10-12 at best before it falls of the table - fast). Analyzing my shots it looks like my regulator may be sitting as high as 140-150 BAR. So in my near future I am looking at a strip and adjust of the regulator and hammer spring. Major negative of this rifle is the absence of an underbody/stock, Picatinny/Weaver attachment for a bipod or Laser designator. No problem for me as I have already printed a Picatinny mount which I will attach tomorrow. Keen to see what you do with this incredible rifle. Pity RU-vid doesn't allow us to upload pictures with posts/replies.
This a thing that happens especially if you have not cleaned up the breech chamber, transfer port and leade combines with an improper bolt cycling. Remove your barrel via 3 set screws and mag should come out with the pellet that is jammed.
Guten Morgen Tyrone Wie kann ich mein Schalldämpfer noch leiser machen...der ist bisschen laut, hast du vielleicht eine Idee Vielen Dank und Entschuldigung für die Störung... Du hast Ahnung ich nicht 😅
Hi Michel, the main problem with this silencer is the volume. To quieten it down you will need to make a bigger silencer. 3D printed silencer will also work great
Hi Keith, no unfortunately not but you can refill in between events, for e.g. you could shoot your benchrest set, go and refill and then use the same rifle for say the precision shooting
I think it depends what you want to use the rifle for. For hunting/ pest control I would leave it as is. If you are going to mainly use it for target work I would detune it a little to sub12
@@African-Budget-Pellet-Gunner adesso Che Ho cambiato il trasferport e aggiunto 5 mm spessore alla molla del martello , quando riempio il fucile con la pompa esce aria nella canna
