Arthur may have his flaws, but in some ways he’s more of a Santa than his brother will ever be. He cares about every single child and wants nothing more than for it to be perfect for all of them.
It’s always heartbreaking to me seeing a character who’s usually charismatic and jolly acknowledge the mean things said to them by their peers. It really makes me feel for and relate to them.
"All that fuss over one kid?". If I was in this scene, I would say, "At least you cared about that girl's feelings unlike everyone else. And you were willing to do whatever it takes to make sure she was given what every child deserves on Christmas Day," I love Arthur and I feel so sorry for him in this scene; he's the pure example of Arthur no matter what others say. 😇
