The fragment at 5 37 is from the first movement of Mozart Piano Concerto no. 24 (the theme that is introduced by the piano 2 minutes into the concerto). The theme at 7 07 is from the second movement of Schubert's cello quintet D. 956.
Well. It may not 'matter' to you.And it probably does not "matter" to me either. But if you want to hear a veritable tsunami of wrong notes from this great artist You Tube "Rubenstein's Last Concert in Israel"I think that this level of technical incompetence is really unacceptable in a so-called 'great" artist. There are pianists with easily as much artistry but also technical perfection.I prefer this. But you are right. In the scheme of things it does not matter
And you believe that single note justifies disliking the entire video? Personally, I think your pointing out the note, which is not difficult to hear if one knows the piece, would be insightful and worthy of expressing. But to dislike the entirety as a result of that seems a bit petty, no?
I have re read all my comments about this and at no stage do I see the least suggestion that this one wrong note causes me to "dislike the whole video".Why do you ascribe words to me that I have not used. Please try to confine yourself to what I actually said instead of what you THINK I said ,or,indeed, meant.Have you had a look at that video I mentioned?
