it is going to change everything. Problem is the economic sector it occupies. I had this job to do an animation for a music video. The deadline was ridiculous, clients never understand what they want and how the pipiline works, even minimally. They ended up using midjourney or discodiffusion to generate abstract shapes to go with the music "good enought", and saved up on the already exploitative amount they were gonna pay us. Recently I met an excited client who wanted storyboards for a bunch of videos. They really liked my storyboard and have me a big budget. Suddenly they lowered the amount they were willing to pay me. And then, nothing. Adobe Firefly had come out with a storyboard generator feature... No bad products, just bad prices... This goes for the creation itself too, not just tje consumption. This calls for quoting the text "On Money" on Marx's Economico-Philosophical Manuscprits. Creaitivity and imagination outsorced. They finally did it, even in the upmost of human subjectivity, turned impotence into omnipotence. We quantified qualia to the point we split the atom. Once this extraodrinary tech becomes ordinary, I can't imagine humanity as being an intrinsically motivated species anymore. "Only a catastrophe can save us"
