@@VictorMartinez-rc8zu it depends on the texture and how fast you want youre mouse pad. I haev an xsoft hayate otsu with the g pro x superlight and I love it. On boardzy's latest reviews about mousepad, he recommends the hayate otsu (xsoft), Hien (the red mouse pad being reviewed,) and the fx zero. Boardzy says the hayate otsu is kinda like the hien but not as fast. It has more stopping power. Hien is faster, rougher texture and you may feel a difference between horizontal and vertical movement but you eventually get used to it apparently.
Yo boardzy, do you think the Hien XSOFT would be a good "jack of all trades" pad? I mainly play tac shooters but I also play a good amount of fast paced shooters, also I'm not sure the Zero would last as long as the Hien.
Hey boardzy I am watching your videos for a couple of days now and I noticed that the sound volume on your videos is pretty low compared to the majority on RU-vid. Could you try turning up the sound a little bit in your rendering software? Good review as always, I think I'll buy a Hien when they are restocked

yeah I have the Xsoft Zero and I can safely say it's the best control pad on the market aside from maybe the Xten control and the Hien. I really love both but for now my main is def the Zero!
@@boardzy Do me a favor - compare the Longteng SpecialEdition (redxblue one) to Aqua control+ , Hien soft and Dash , if possible. Some of us in the mr / mpr are curious to which one it is closer. It is made of amudsen fabric just like AC+ and Hien , yet i have my doubts as HKGaming said the Hien texture is too complicated for them.
avoid the xsoft, it's like a memory foam pillow, i was playing some warzone with the gang and we were holding prison rooftop, the pad was very soft and as we were getting pushed i started feeling sleepy, my hand just sank in the comfy mousepad and my head followed, it was the best sleep of my life, but fuck this mousepad
I started with the Artisan zero soft for csgo and absolutely loved it. After a few months passed I began to wonder about the xsoft and decided to give it a try and I'm sure glad I did! As far as I can tell, I lost none of the speed but gained considerable control on top of the already very controllable zero soft. I love it so much I ordered another xsoftto have as a backup.
@@Al3x4nd3er yes absolutely. I feel that the xsoft gives me better control compared to the soft while still being more than fast enough. I have a deathadder v3 pro with regular corepad mouseskates and the 4k hz dongle. Before getting my first artisan zero two years ago, I exclusively used a QCK+ or QCK heavy since 2004.
Recently I have bought a artisan zero xsoft. I'm usually play csgo. Before I've used zowie gsr and I expected that the artisan will be as control pad as zowie or slightly faster but it's way faster and I'm not feel confident. I'll give a try couple days more to used to it. However the quality of Artisan is amazing
@@siriusa5298 i started whith the zero but after time it gets slower and slower and its feeling like i cant move my mouse normally. I never noticed the hien getting slower so that is my main mousepad
I actually ended up selling it, i only got a large so it was a bit too small, also I was using a g pro wireless at the time and the tracks where the skates go into had plastic sticking out pretty far and i'm pretty sure that was catching on the pad, would make sure you have thick skates if your mouse is anything like that. Other than all that it's an excellent pad, premium quality certainly wouldn't wear down for a long time, I'd just recommend getting an XL and maybe just a soft instead of xsoft, xsoft is great though with good skates, didn't have a problem with it on other mice. Will definitely be looking into getting an XL zero soon, just been messing around with other pads.
I like how everyone is quoting Boardzy saying xsoft is ass even when he admits it multiple times during the video. I'm personally using mid Hien and really happy with it, would be nice to test soft though to see the difference.
I have both and theres really not too big of a difference imo. Biggest difference i felt was when i didnt have my arm sleeve on, my arm practically stuff to the soft bur it doesnt do that with the mid. Both are +10 aim regardless
@@boardzy do you prefer corepad over hyperglides for every mouse and mousepad? What inspires your decision? My hands are 20 cm long. I got big hands and I saw your reviews on the XM1 and G hati S and the roccat. I'm very indecisive not only on the mouse I'll be using. I'm having a hard time deciding on which pad and mouse feet I'll use. I play claw grip/finger tip on my g pro wireless only because the mouse is small for my gargantuan hands LOL. Your videos are very informative and I'd appreciate any input you have to up my accuracy in third person shooters
I ordered a medium because it was all I could find in wine red on Amazon now I’m wishing I got the soft directly through artisan from you saying it’s like a hard pad and I’m worried stopping power will be bad
Do u guys shave any recommendation on what i should pick between the 3 Zero ? I guess hien isn’t for me and I’ve heard that the mid is much more consistent than the others

hello , i have g pro wirelles superlight , i was think to buy artisan hien soft , you think its better i go for soft or xsoft ? i play so many different games , tactical shooters, battle royale , mmorpg etc.. , can you help me that ?
Well I have a g pro x super light I’m trying to educate myself by warning every video you make on these mousepads to not make the mistake of buying wrong one. I’m just waiting for restock of zero classic XL soft
lmaooo "buying an artisan pad is like deciding to keep a family member on life support. its a big decision" nah, just save up a week and do your research/know your preferences. great vid
Yo boardzy, hope you respond but I really wanna get the soft but idk if I should get xl or large xl is more expensive on eBay so idk also is the large one big?
xsoft/soft/mid all have different amounts of stopping power / speed / dynamic friction. The options exist in the first place for you to be able to pick based on your specific preference. If you like the Hein but don't want it to be super fast, get the xsoft version. If you want it as fast as possible, then get mid.
@@julianmanifan123 if you arm aim and apply pressure to the pad. The soft pad will dig in more than the really hard pad and will be slower undoubtedly. Its subtle, but it is absolutely noticeable.
@@snoweiii ok, I don’t mind it slowing down but mine slowed down in a very particular spot where I use the pad the most which makes sense but washing hasn’t restored it. Maybe I damaged it early on or something I might order a new one
